Norman Broadway of B&B Paving was contracted to complete two driveways for my elderly mom for a total of $14k. They washed away two days after being "completed" due to an improper foundation and materials. We have made EVERY attempt to rectify this with the company and they have refused, ignored, and blocked all communication. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Ever.

I paid B & B Paving $11,880. to put in a driveway. Within two months it began deteriorating. To be brief, he never came back and repaired it. He would promise this and that and one day while I was in Dallas getting chemo treatments, one of his hands came by and spread a little pea gravel on it. Stay away from this company. They re-paved my Mom's driveway in June 2015 and said they would be back in the fall to seal coat it. It is now August of 2016 and they have yet to return and do the work they promised to do. They have been called several times by my Mom and her lawyer, but these people must believe they are above everything on earth as they refuse to do the work. It's always, "okay, we'll be there in two weeks". BULL!!!! Horrible, horrible people to deal with.

I had my driveway replaced by B&B paving at was totally dissatisfied with the quality of work. It looks like a base coat was applied and was not the smooth surface that that was discussed with to represented who provide the quotation. My concern over the surface is that it has a open space configuration allow the surface to absorb water and I afraid that under winter freeze thaw condition that the surface stones will become unbounded. The owner of the company inspected the finish job and found that the asphalt had been applied correctly. I was not present for his inspection and did not have the opportunity to express my concerns. I have tried 5 time to reach the owner and have not been successful. If I was a new potential customer looking for a recommendation I would surly not want you to consider using B&B Paving . I I had to do it over again I would ask the contractor I they use an I-5 asphalt mix which is the grade of asphalt that is used by municipalities for their resurfacing of roads.

Review: We had our driveway repaved in March of this year (2012). After about the first month the top of the driveway (at the street) started cracking. We have called the owner of the business over 25 times to come fix it and he said he was coming several times and didn't show. He finally showed up in August but didn't fix the problem and since then the problem has become much worse. At this point, the first 6 feet of paving needs to be dug out and redone and I am expecting [redacted] to take care of this immediately. Less than 1 inch of asphalt was laid at the top of the driveway and that is why it is cracking - this is not acceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $900 so I can pay another paving company to redo the first 6 feet or I would expect B&B Paving to take care of this immediately. I am taking this approach before filing a lawsuit. The total price of the project was $2600.

After speaking with [redacted] at the company, he stated he did go out to customer's property over the summer to fix the cracking issue. He stated he was not aware there was still an outstanding problem as the customer had not contacted him. He said he is happy to go out and take a look at the driveway again.

On Sept. 23, 2009.....yes 2009. B&B Paving came to solicit my mother and talked her into recoating our driveway with this product that is blacktop with a skim coat of cement on top, promising it would look like the concrete driveway she already has. Within 2 days cracks appeared all over. We contacted Normam Broadway on Oct. 1, 2009, he promise to come out to repair the driveway, but ever showed.
For months I have tried to get hold of him...When I do...twice, he promises to come out.
Almost a year...Finally got hold of him...he promised to come and do the driveway the first week of Aug. 2010. He said to resolve this he would have to blacktop it. No show no call. He has the phone number to call.
Please help me resolve this. Norman did a group of driveways in the neighborhood...each person he did work for is not happy with their job also.
..and it has been over a year trying to get this resolved.

I have been handling this for my mother. She is 79 years old and paid for the work up front.
