I had them quote and install a roof for me at a rental. The quote came in at $7200, which was in the middle of the pack. I decided to go with them so asked them to go ahead with the job. Part way through the job he called and told me the flat roofs needed to be done as well. Since I can't go on roof's myself I asked for pictures of any extra work that needed to be done. I received the final bill of $15200 when the job was finished. The quote for the flat roof was $2500. They then had added a lot of extra's on...eg, 25 sheets of plywood, I asked to see receipts for the purchase of the plywood and he refused to show me. He then came to my house twice looking for payment. I gave him $11,200 which I thought was fair to both of us.
He was not satisfied with this and sent it to a collection agency which is where the claim still is and remain. [redacted]
