RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]+ Ms [redacted] There are so many false statements in this I don't quite know where to start but I am not going to do a he said she said type of response. I have sent you a copy of the contract which states that B & B Services is fully insured and Licensed with the State of Wisconsin. This is on all of the paperwork I have recieved from him. You can check with the State of WI yourself . He not only had his license pulled but knew he didn't have a licnse according to the licensing board because he never even tried to renew his license in November of 2013 which he would have had to do in order to have one. I recieved my first copy of the contract dated Feb 14, 2014 by email. I think this is called Fraud! This is your chance to do your job State of WI. I was shocked to see that he admitted that he was to get 50% down after demolition and the other 50% when the job was finished. So if this is true why did he charge me for $2668.75 which is half of the other half of the contract on May 28th? I will mail you a copy of this invoice and you can check it out. He was not to get that until the job was finished! The original contract was for $10675.00 - $850.00 for the work my son did which was really a rip off. I know that [redacted] was not going to competely remove the cabinets, counter tops, appliances and flooring for $850.00 hense forth the wording that half would be paid upon demolition but than he wormed his way out of that also by charging me back $250.00. The one thing I told him about Tyson was that he was so honest that you would have to hold a gun to his head to get him to lie. Tyson had told him he had no place to put the tile until he moved some off from the area he had stacked it, but as soon as he removed it he should call him and Tyson would remove the rest of the floor. But [redacted] didn't do that he instead accused Tyson of not doing the whole job so he could charge me another +$250.00. [redacted] 's contract stated that he would clean up and haul away all debris. -$1200.00 credit for not putting in the Sky Tubes. But adding $600.00 for putting up the 6 pieces of drywall in the living-room. (Which he never fininshed, by the way) This leaves a balance of $9475.00 April 2, 2014 he recieved a check from my bank for $6123.27 of which $4912.50 was strictly off the price of $9475.00 leaving a balance of the contract of $4562.50 By the way he charged $319.22 for taxes on this invoice,( he only had supplies amounting to $466.55 )so I am not sure what the $319.22 was for, maybe someone in the tax dept does. He sent me an email on April 6th telling me that he was going out to the house on April 7th & 8th to finish up all he could do before I got the tile. Did I have it ordered yet? You can imagine my surprise when I came home on April 24th and nothing was done! Wires were hanging from the kitchen cieling, nothing had been textured, the living-room walls just had the drywall nailed up and one coat of compound on them, (the carpet was full of drywall compound)the opening he cut out of the wall wasn't leveled off, the only new electrical switch was a switch to turn on andoff the kitchen light from the other side of the kitchen that didnt need to be put there as I had a switch on the dining room wall that was fine. Absolutely nothing had been brought up to code. There was no place to plug in the electric oven or any of the other appliances. He hadn't moved the waterline for the refrigerator or put in the socket to plug it in, just wires again. He had atleast a week or two of work to be ready for tile. I kept asking him when he was going to get out here and get the job done and he said "He was not driving all the way out to my place for two hours worth of work. (really Iam 15 min. tops from his place) and he was to have had it ready for cabinets and flooring by the time I got home. May 9th I and [redacted] met with the Amish gentelman (Paul)who was going to build the cabinets. When asked when we wanted them I said as soon as you can do them. We were told he would have them done in two weeks. (I was surprised but pleasantly). From that point on I was trying to get [redacted] to show up to get the kitchen ready for the cabinets. This is someone who had accepted the job March 7th. [redacted] said he got busy. Really? I have no problem with him accepting other jobs to fill in while he has some downtime at my place but that usually happens when you are as far as you can go at the job you took first doesn't it? Well he never got to that point on my place. I picked out my tile from the Tile Shop. [redacted] had told me where to go and who to see. I had specifically told [redacted] I wanted a different size tile besides 12X12 since that is what we took out and I didn't want the kitchen out dated, Lisa was a great help. We talked to [redacted] from the tile shop about the tile and when it woud be ready. There were no surprises. He knew what was picked out. He could pick the tile up on Tues May 20th. The cabinets would be ready to install on May 23rd. Keep in mind April 6th [redacted] told me he would be ready for the tile by April 8th. So he should have been able to pick up the tile on the 20th and start laying it. He could have had the tile all done where the cabinets were being intalled. But he put that off also and didn't even pick it up until the 23rd. He infact delivered the tile while Paul and his worker installed the upper cabinets. Other than meeting to talk to the cabinet maker I had not seen [redacted] until May 22 when he came to finally texturize the kitchen. I reminded [redacted] on May 13th that Paul was going install the cabinets and he said he woud be out the next day to get the work done. He didn't show up. I then reminded him that the cabinets were being installed on Friday the 23rd of May, "he said he isn't installing the cabinets until I say he is." Really is this the kind of respect one contractor has for another? I could not tell Paul he couldn't bring the cabinets because he has just a little shop and not room to store all of my cabinets . He had 3 more kitchens to do. So I told him that [redacted] was not ready yet but I will get up 6am and paint the walls so he can install the uppers and I have a place to store the lower ones for another week giving [redacted] time to get the floor laid. [redacted] finally showed up on the 27 & 28th of May. He layed tile on 2/3rds of the kitchen floor and told me that he was not going to work the rest of the week because he had plans to be out of town and he wasn't canceling them, that he had them for some time. He then told me he had another invoice and wanted the monies that day. I had some questions about some of the charges, like he had a charge of $345.00 for a dumpster. I reminded him that the contract reads he will remove and haul away all debris. He didn't like that, claimed the tile was to heavy for his truck. I said I would look it over and I had errands to run but I would talk to the bank and come up with something. I called the bank but Stacy was busy. The invoice was for $3939.12 with $2668.75 which according to his invoice was 1/2 of the balance of the contract that in his own words he was not to get until the job was finished. I was shocked since he had only worked 4 days the entire month of May and one of those days were to drop off the tile and leave. $876.25 was for supplies. The items were all itemized. There are not many things on the invoice that are here at the house, I questioned him about that also but he just got angry. I certainly didn't know why I was paying for his saw blade, he was going to use that on many jobs. He charged me for a $40.00 credit where he brought back drywall so that was an $80.00 charge that shouldn't have been on there. He had a fewTrowels on there which he took home wih him every night and still has. Why should I pay for them. His invoice was for$3939.12 so if you take off the monies he wasn't to have tuntl the job was complete his invoice was less than $1000.00. I generously gave him $3000.00 just so he would keep working since he would eventually get it anyway. Instead he went to the tile company and picked up my backsplash, waited over the weekend or me to leave the house then snuck back into my house and picked up his tilesaw and never came back. (Dennnis lets assume I was wrong about you taking my backsplash, whydidn't you drop it off here when you stopped for the saw?) It is to heavy to carry around in your truck. I called Lisa the middle of the next week to ask if my backsplash was in yet and she said she gave it to [redacted] . I asked when and she said Thurs the 29th. (the day he was to busy to come to work.) I said he walked out on the job and she said she was so sorry and had no idea but that she would call him every day and ask him to bring it back. I called her every few days and she said he doesn't answer his phone and hasn't returned the tile. Weeks went by and she was feeling terrible. I had stopped into the Tile Co on Sunday and talked to the owner. He felt so bad about what happened also. Finally on Tues June 24th I called the Dane Co. Sheriff and told them what happened and they told me they went to see him but since the tile co gave it to him they had to reimburse me and they would have to file charges against him. After the officer went to his house he brought the backsplash back to the tile co.the next day. Lisa called an told me that he brough it back. I told her why and she said yes he said that Ihad called the cops on him, If that is false charges then my name isn't Janet. He had no intention of installing it and he knows it. So now I have a kitchen that is no where near done, and he has been paid $9123.27. I will also need to install a new Living-Room carpet that he ruined with dry wall compound just because he was to lazy to put down plastic. This man was recomended by a friend. Who would do that to a friend of a friend if you had any self respect at all? If anyone wants to come by and look at the job Mr. [redacted] Busch of B & B Services did you are welcome. I even have lots of pictures I can share, I am sure [redacted] is proud of his job and would love for you all to see how he left it and just what you could get for $9123.27. He didn't get a building permit because I guess if you are not really a licensed contractor you can' t get one. I didn't know this. This must be why he said "I never said I would bring it up to code". I asked you [redacted] -Is this even leagal? No it isn't if you are a licensed contractor which you claimed to be. You would have had to bring it up to code! That is the law just incase you dont know it. Yes I realise that [redacted] sent me an email telling me if I put another almost $5000.00 in escrow for him he would come back and finish the project. Right! Shame on you [redacted] for taking money without doing the job the first time, but if I give you more knowing what I do about you-Shame on Me!!! Regards, [redacted]

Company states: We showed up to the location and the daughter would not allow us on the property and refused the plant that we broughtWe are willing to resolve this and it would only take about minutes to completeIf they provide us with a good time to come by and resolve this we will but we need permission first

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I want to know what *** Busch has to say about the fraudulent document that says he was a licensed contractor with the State of WIWhy are you not pursuing documents? In all of his responses he never answers the questions!
I also want to know what the $I paid him was for since he didn't finish anything he was paid to do That was almost the total of his ProposalHe really has the nerve to say I didn't pay for materialsI would love to hear what he put in my house I didn't pay for I paid for materials that he never put in my house and I have certified contractors that will swear to that
He invoiced me for feet of electrical wire that contractors have looked for and said "if you paid for electrical wiring it is not for your house because it is not here" He invoiced me for a tile saw cutting blade that I do not have, also for two trowels, two grout sponges, electrical switches and many more items that are not and have never been in my houseBut he was paid in full for all of themHeck I even paid for dry-wall that he brought back and received a credit forThen he billed me for the creditWow what a cheat!
He also was paid to lay my tile floor which he never finished, install my appliances which he never did, texture my kitchen ceiling so it would blend with the rest which he never didHe just put some sand texture in the paint so that it stands out like a sore thumb
He was to install a fan over the stove top which he never did, have wiring done for microwave and electric stove which he never didThe opening he cut out was done so poorly that had to be fixedSo tell me please I would love to know just what did I pay you $to do besides make one heck of a mess, run off after I generously gave you money you didn't have comingYou even knew that you didn't have another half of your contract money coming until the job was done satisfactorily which believe me has not been done, so it looks like you were over paid according to your invoice
*** thinks I should sign a contract to pay him another $when he ripped me off and then left the job
Charging me for work he had no intention of finishing Shame on him Me agreeing to pay him another $knowing what I do about him would be Shame on me!
If the Revdex.com or the Consumer Protection Agency doesn't take care of fraudulent People/business's who are out there taking advantage of people, the *** Busch's have free reign over the citizens of WI and are left to take care of things themselves.
Yes I can and will take him to courtThanks for the information you sent me I am sure it will be helpful in prosecuting this so called licensed contractor
I am a tax payer and I think our money should be put to use protecting consumers from this kind of abuse
If you are a trade practice consultant I hope you expect more out of your trade people than what *** has shown
He says I am the first one he has done this toI have to ask why? I am not sure I would believe anything he says anymore
A used to be friend of his recommended him to meHe feels absolutely terribleWhat would make a person so desperate that he would stoop that low! Just wondering what is next when you become desperate
Regards,
*** ***

I'm not going to resort to a "he said, she said" response I sent an email on August with my response to Ms ***s' complaint, and there are no changes to that response Ms *** has refused to sign any of my paperwork as spelled out, or agree to my "LABOR" ONLY contract which we agreed to and pay for my material, or even Escrow it so that I know I will get paid IF I were to complete the contract So until she agrees, I have no option other than to reject her response as she has done I have HUNDREDS of satisfied, repeat Customers and it's unfortunate that Ms *** feels the way she does

Ms [redacted]

There are so many false statements in this I don't quite know where to start but I am not going to do a he said she said type of  response.

-$1200.00 credit for not putting in the Sky Tubes.
But adding $600.00 for putting up the 6 pieces of drywall in the living-room.  (Which he never fininshed, by the way)
This leaves a balance of $9475.00

April 2, 2014 he recieved a check from my bank for $6123.27 of which $4912.50 was strictly off the price of $9475.00 leaving a balance of the contract of $4562.50

By the way he charged $319.22 for taxes on this invoice,( he only had supplies amounting to $466.55 )so I am not sure what the $319.22 was for, maybe someone in the  tax dept does.

He sent me an email on April 6th telling me that he was going out to the house on April 7th & 8th to finish up all he could do before I got the tile.  Did I have it ordered yet?

I am rejecting this response because: The written paperwork says that B&B Service will rock the yard, kill the yard, weed block undev., 20 places.  $1500.00 with start date $500.00 down, $1000.00 when finished, signed on March 3, 2015.My problem is workmanship.  Lawrence assured me on the Saturday immediately after the 3rd of March that the drip system was in and working.  I have a piece of drip system tubing sticking out of the ground by one of the plants by the driveway that is not capped and when I turn the water on, no water comes out of it.  I have concerns not all plants are receiving the water from the drip system.  I have been unable to reach Mr. Lawrence Biegler but I did leave a message for him regarding the drip system on April 3, 2015.  I have discovered Mr. Biegler did not put down weed block on the entire yard and it appears there is none along the entire side of the driveway and part of the sidewalks.  Additionally there places where the weed block has gaps (which may be due to the fact he had two workers putting rock in after dark in poor lighting and unsupervised).  I have weeds popping up faster than I can weed kill them.  He did not kill the yard per the initial paperwork.  All I am asking Mr. Biegler to do is to do what the contract says:.  Kill weeds and grass, Weed block yard, provide/plant the tree he agrees is waiting for my yard, make sure the drip system is working properly. I also am still waiting for requested a final statement of work completed showing the materials and plant information.  I have previously told Mr. Biegler that I am off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  My adult daughter has been home and neither of us has had contact from Mr. Biegler regarding planting and delivering the tree.  Perhaps he needs to recheck the address.  My phone number is still 707-499-3697 or 916-735-9355.  I would appreciate some effort from him to resolve this.  I feel betrayed because I trusted him as a general contractor to do the work in a professional manner.

I am rejecting this response because:I CERTAINLY DID NOT GET A PHONE CALL TELLING ME B&B SERVICE WAS ON THE  WAY AND I DID NOT GET ANY PHONE CALLS ARRANGING ANYTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON VOICEMAIL OR CALLER ID.  MY DAUGHTER DOES NOT APPRECIATE BEING ATTACKED LIKE THIS. LAWRENCE HAS NOT COME HERE EVEN WHEN WE ARRANGED FOR A DATE PREVIOUSLY AND HAS BEEN UNREACHABLE BY PHONE.  THE STATEMENTS THAT MY DAUGHTER WOULD TURN DOWN ANYTHING AND REFUSE ENTRANCE TO PROPERTY IS ABSURD AND FRANKLY A DOWNRIGHT LIE.  I'D LIKE AN APOLOGY.  THE TREE, THE WATER DRIP SYSTEM, THE WEED BLOCK MATERIAL,  LAWN KILL AND ITEMIZED STATEMENT SHOWING A BREAKDOWN OF WORK, MATERIALS, PLANTS,ETC WITH SHOW OF COST.  I DOUBT THE WORK WILL BE DONE IN A 1/2 HOUR SINCE IT WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY IN THE BEGINNING. AGAIN, I AM OFF ON TUES, WED.  MY PHONE IS STILL ###-###-#### AND ###-###-####, I HAVE VOICE MAIL ON BOTH.   SO MR. BIEGLER WILL NEED TO CONTACT ME TO ARRANGE SOMETHING SINCE HE DOES NOT HAVE AN ACCESSIBLE PHONE TO REACH HIM AT SINCE MY CALLS GO TO VOICEMAIL ( BOX IS ALWAYS FULL ON THE ONE)AND HE NEVER RESPONDED TO THE VOICEMAIL I LEFT REGARDING THE DRIP SYSTEM ON THE OTHER.  GIVEN B AND B SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN RELIABLE IN SHOWING UP EVEN WHEN PROMISED I FIND IT ALL TALK AND NO ACTION.I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF THE ACTUAL LICENSED CONTRACTOR ON B&B SERVICE ACTUALLY DOES THE WORK SINCE I DID NOT HIRE ANYONE ELSE BUT THAT CONTRACTOR TO DO THE WORK.

RE:  Revdex.com Complain ID [redacted]
Dear Ms [redacted]
This letter is in response to the above referenced complaint
filed by Ms [redacted].  I would first
off like to set some records straight and lay out the...

scenario of how this all
came about.  Ms [redacted] and I had agreed
to perform the work stated in my proposal dated February 14, 2014.  The proposal as specified in writing was
strictly for Labor, and material costs to be billed separately.  The payment schedule was 50% down when
demolition was complete and the balance on satisfactory completion.
At that time or shortly thereafter she left town for Florida and Arizona
for the majority of the winter, only returning on two occasions.  The intent was to complete the work while she
was out of State as she would be without a Kitchen or first floor Bathroom
until the work was completed.
When we were ready to start the work back in March of 2014,
Ms [redacted] asked me if I could credit her for having the Kitchen cabinets, floor
tile and subfloor removed as her Son would do the work.  I offered her a credit of $850.00 which she
accepted.  After waiting for 3 weeks for
the work to be done by her Son, I contacted her Son and he was to have the work
done by the weekend of March 16.  When we
arrived on the job to start the work on March 18, 2014, the work was only half
completed.  I called Ms [redacted] and told
her that the work was not complete and her exact words to me were “that doesn’t
surprise me, he never completes what he starts”.  I told Ms [redacted] that we would finish the
removal as we needed to start our work.
After working on the project for 3 weeks, I told Ms [redacted]
that she needed to pick out a floor tile as we will need to start that before
the cabinets can go in or before much else is completed.  I have the emails to support the fact that I
kept asking her for the tile selection, but her comments were I will pick it
out when I come back to town.  The tile
selection was not made until May 10th, 2014, and around the same
time she also decided on the Kitchen cabinets, and then proceeded to tell me
that the Kitchen cabinets were going to be installed in two weeks.  I have numerous projects in the works, and
after waiting for 2 months for the tile selection I cannot just drop everything
to set the tile and told her to hold off on the cabinets, but she proceeded to
have them installed instead.
The original discussion with Ms [redacted] was that she was
going to go with like a 6”x6” or maybe a 12”x12” floor tile or something along
those lines.  When I picked up the tile
and delivered it to the job I noticed that it was a 4 sized tile laid in a Versailles pattern, which
is much different than laying one size tile in a straight pattern.
On May 27, 2014 when we started laying the tile, I presented
to Ms [redacted] an invoice for another 25% of the Contract, as I had Labor into
the job for the last 2 months, an
extra of $400.00 for laying the tile in the new pattern, an extra for the
drywall work she wanted done, and also a material draw for material some of
which I had expended out of pocket for months also.  Ms [redacted] gave me a partial payment but
refused to agree to nor sign the extras or the material costs, which she
claimed she “had some questions on” but has refused to date to explain to me.
As a result, I pulled off the job and informed Ms [redacted] that
I would not return until she had agreed to:
·
Sign the original proposal.
·
Agree to and sign the Extras
·
Agree to or at least explain the discrepencies
and pay the material invoice
I also have an email from Ms [redacted] letting me know that her
backsplash tile was in at the Tile Shop, which I then picked up as I had done
for all the other tile and materials for the job.  Ms [redacted] then proceeded to tell the Tile
Shop that they should not have given me the tile, as they always do for a
Customer and as I have an account there, and told them they are responsible to
replace the tile at their cost.  She then
proceeded to call the Dane County Sheriffs Office and file a false Police
report against me claiming that I “stole” her backsplash tile, which in itself
is a misdemeanor crime.  She knew that I
hadn’t “stolen” the tile and merely picked it up for her as I have an email to
prove that she claimed I didn’t have the backsplash tile work completed, which
proves she wanted me to do the work.
 In the process of working
on the project, Ms [redacted], myself and a mutual friend decided to eliminate the
ceiling tube lights and instead remove the drywall from two Living room walls
and re-drywall these walls to eliminate a stucco finish on the walls.  I have the email in which I explained to Ms
[redacted] that to eliminate the tube lights and drywall and finish the walls would
be an extra of $600.00.                 .
As a result of all of this, I have an email explaining to Ms
[redacted] that I would not be back to work on her project until she signs the
original proposal, agree to and sign the extras, and if nothing else put the
money for the material invoice in an escrow account at Community Bank where she
banks so that I am guaranteed to be paid for it.  When these items are agreed to and completed
I would be happy to finish her project.
In closing, I have a job calendar showing all the dates
worked and events mentioned above, plus ALL email correspondences backing my
position if they should need to be provided.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I was in the process of repairing/remodeling my duplex for the purpose of selling it. I contracted with [redacted] to do some plumbing work. He did a good job with the plumbing, he was responsive and returned calls at that time and I trusted him. I asked him if he knew someone who installed granite, as we wanted to change the counter tops in the kitchen to granite for the sell. He told me that he did, and that was what he did before going into the plumbing. We set up an agreement and he installed the counter top. I had to leave to come home right after the installation ( I live in K.C., Missouri), and I had a doctors appointment. I returned in August, the work was done in July. Upon my return I found that the granite had cracked in the middle where the sink was. On further examination, I saw the problem, the granite was not flat, it was sitting on top of the end of the cabinet where the dishwasher was placed not over it. This incorrect placement caused the crack. I called [redacted] and told him of my discovery. He made an appt. with me for the following Thursday, but he did not show. I called him the following day about the missed appointment, and he made another which he did not keep either. When I called him after that, he stopped answering the phone and they went to his voice box and I left messages which he did not answer. After about 5 calls of this nature with no answer, I stopped calling. Earlier this month I sent him a certified letter and it came back Return to sender, unable to forward. No one wants to work behind him and I have to start over. This letter was requesting the money back that I had paid him plus the cost of the granite and the fees for bull-nosing charged by the granite co. Since I had no response, I am filing my complaint with Revdex.com, contractor's board & will file in small claims court so that the repairs can be made, I am trying to sell. I am on a pension and don't have any savings left due to expenses of this house.Desired Settlement: I would like for him to refund cost for his labor and to reimburse me for the cost of the granite and the bull-nosing so that I can start over and get the work done. The total is $970.00.

Business

Response:

Company states: We do not install or buy the granite. We cannot warranty that.

Consumer

Response:

Consumer states: I bought the granite. I was physically there when he installed the granite.

Review: Toilets make sound like fog horn when flushed. B&B Plumbing came out, stated the pipes needed to be secured together, charged $625 (which seems high for 20 minutes work). Noise stopped when he flushed one of two toilets. During the night, the sound came back and is now louder. Have called B&B twice, stating the problem, requesting that Larry call me. B&B has cashed check and is not returning phone calls to fix the problem for which he has been paid for.Desired Settlement: Request a refund so a reliable company can come out and fix the problem at reasonable rate. If this is not possible, then have problem fixed at not additional charge.

Review: Regarding: [redacted] deck work by B & B services through [redacted], referral through [redacted]. My original contact with [redacted] was in April, 2015, speaking to a salesperson at the Pro Desk, [redacted] I asked if [redacted] had people who came out to do home construction; specifically deck building. She said [redacted] didnt use to recommend people due to not having the workers bonded, but now they are bonded and cleared, fingerprinted through a company and she gave me 5 names printed out from the [redacted] computer. We interviewed several of the people on the list and called back in July to find one of them once again. My husband could not remember which one gave us one of the quotes. I called to speak to [redacted] at the prodesk, who read the names and phone numbers of the contractors on her list that still did decks and was cleared."B & B Services, [redacted], hired unlicensed, unskilled workers, headed by [redacted], wanted for fraud and con man behavior by the District Attorney. His work on my deck left me with an unsafe and unfinished deck as well as tile work that needs to be redone. Red Beacon, referral company for [redacted], instructed me to allow them to finish and redo what was wrong, and now I am left with scarred and scraped white Trex posts, rails that wobble, unsquared cuts on boards, bowed deck, slope toward our home, boards not screwed to anything, unevenly measured joists, unpressurized wood as requested, Trex that can't be used again due to numerous holes, improper gapping that voids the Trex warranty, missing boards that were never ordered, and a friend stepped through a board that was supposed to be fixed to a joist but was not. [redacted] came twice to the site, and ignored my complaints, as well as collected all but $1,500. He has numerous articles on his escapades on line dealing with gems. He is a con man. All my $ 7200 worth of materials have been destroyed and can't be reused.Desired Settlement: This letter will serve as a letter of demand to [redacted], B & B Services ([redacted]). This is what I am demanding and want by the end of the week, August 21, in order to have the required and desired deck installed by a new contractor I have found.1)All monies for the materials and labor of both the tile and deck work returned to me. ( See documentation of checks and receipts) These monies need to be recovered immediately in order to prevent future injuries and to allow usage of the back yard. We want and need to have our new deck immediately, and we cannot begin the new construction without recovering the money given to [redacted] and B & B Services. Tile materials cost: $275.03 Tile Labor: $1,320 Deck materials cost $7,131.16 Deck labor so far paid $4,220 Total expenditures to B & B and for ruined materials: $12,015.03.The demolition costs of the deck and tile installed by B & B Services removed and carted away by [redacted] at

I have a problem calling him a contractor Home Depot recommended B&B services to do a sheetrock soundboard job in a duplex he is registered with redbeacon and I just read the Revdex.com review gave him an F rating I don't know how he is still operating through Home Depot and redbeacon in 2014 I had him start the job in my home that was the biggest mistake I've ever made with the contractor nothing went right he covered up electrical outlets cut Sheetrock that did not fit the existing wall he used my dishes to mix mud in my sink I complain to Home Depot and redbeacon and they did nothing this job cost me $2,400 and nothing worked the sound board did not work because it will not work how it was put up Home Depot is telling people to use soundboard on a wall incorrectly in order for Sound Board to work you have to install studs in between framework you can't just cover up with sheetrock I trusted Home Depot that they would send out somebody competent to do the job right after reading complaints about B&B services I don't know how Home Depot and redbeacon could continue to recommend B&B services two anyone I'm Iwant the public to know this story so I emailed my local news station all the information that I have they're going to focus on being the service's Home Depot in redbeacon hopefully they'll put it on TV I doubt that he even put up the right amount of soundboard I'm going to take down the sheetrock that's covering the soundboard I'm going to film as I go and see what he had done that is it for now

Review: On March 3, 2015 [redacted] had agreed to put rocks and 20 plants in on top of grass in my front yard. We also had asked for a tree and an itemization of the bill. We paid him $1500 for the job and was not impressed with the job. First, [redacted] had claimed that he had come by when it was still dark to spray and kill the grass, but we never saw him and was unsure of this happening. Second, we had a tree that was dormant in yard and never asked him to pull that tree. [redacted] pulled a tree that my daughter and I had worked on and was growing. Thirdly, although he had fixed the border between our yard and my neighbor's yard it was done with cheap wood and was an eye sore until my daughter stained it to match the fence.Fourthly, we were told that we would be receiving one tree and never received the tree, plus we were expecting he was going to pull the tree that he had pulled since we never asked him to do that. Fifthly, there are holes in the tarp that his landscapers laid down and now grass is growing through the tarp that he said he killed. He also did not cut the grass when he laid the tarp so our yard looks very uneven. He expected that we would have a lawn mower and bypassed cutting the grass when we did not have one, which was the reason we chose to do rocks in the first place.Sixthly, we called him for the last two weeks for an itemization and the corrections to be done, and he never showed, his answering machine is full of voicemails so I can't leave a message. He says he will be over, but never comes to fix the problems he left.Desired Settlement: I request the fixes to be made or that we get a partial refund for at least the tree that he agreed to put in, and a partial refund for not fixing the above problems. I also want an automization.

Business

Response:

Company states: We gave her a bid 3800. We put in new gravel and everything else. She only had 1500. We cut out a bunch of the stuff to do the job. So she wants a 3500 job for 1500. We were originally going to do a concrete border but we had to meet her budget. 20 plants were put in. We removed a tree that we were instructed to but when we came back with the replacement they refused it. ?I still have the tree. We are still willing to come and put in the tree. We are responsible for any weeds for the whole year. We will spray for them until they are gone. We will be contacting the consumer to resolve her issues. We will also be dropping off the itemized list that she requested.

Response:

Business

Response:

Company states: We showed up to the location and the daughter would not allow us on the property and refused the plant that we brought. We are willing to resolve this and it would only take about 30 minutes to complete. If they provide us with a good time to come by and resolve this we will but we need permission first.

Review: I entered into a contract with [redacted] that he would remodel my kitchen for $10675.00. We then negotiated it so that my son would remove cabinets, counter tops, appliances & flooring to save $850.00. My son contacted [redacted] and told him he had everything removed but a small area of the floor because there was no place to put the tile. Once he removed the tile that was piled up he should let my son know and he would be back to finish. (Part of the bid was that [redacted] would remove all debris from site). However [redacted] told me he finished removing the tile because my son hadn't removed it all so he charged me another $250.00 for the small area left. This would leave me with a $600.00 difference now making the contract $10075.00. On Sunday April 6 [redacted] wrote (We will be at the house tomorrow & Tues finishing drywall and then can't do anything else until the tile is picked out.) I then asked if he had the skylights done.April 15th He said he didn't think I needed them I should instead replace drywall on the two walls that have stucco texture. (Actually it would be one full wall and the area around the section removed.)Again adjusting contract price. I would save $1200.00 for the skylights but the drywall change would be $600.00 so this makes the contract figure now @ $9475.00. April 2 2014 [redacted] received a check for $6123.27 of which $4912.50 was from contract now leaving a balance of $4562.50.When I arrived home on April 24th I found a mess! Wires hanging from ceiling and none of the drywall done or textured. The drywall put up in the living room but not completed, (and drywall compound all over the carpeting. )The opening in the wall was cut out but not level enough for granite. May 28 after working (only 4 days that month)submitted an invoice for another $3939.12 (with numerous errors in materials) $2668.75 towards rest of contract that he was not to receive until work was completed. It clearly stated 50% down and rest on completion. It is far from completion!Desired Settlement: He now has collected a total of $9123.27. I am unable to have the appliances delivered because the wiring is not up to code. (he said he didn't say he would bring it up to code).the floor isn't done, The Granite is on hold because we may have to have the cabinets removed. There are open electrical wires in boxes behind the cabinet and refrigerator. [redacted] Busch on May 29th went to Tile World and stole my tile for my backsplash (that I paid for) as that wasn't even part of the contract.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]+

Ms [redacted]

There are so many false statements in this I don't quite know where to start but I am not going to do a he said she said type of response.

The original contract was for $10675.00

- $850.00 for the work my son did which was really a rip off.

[redacted]'s contract stated that he would clean up and haul away all debris.

I called Lisa the middle of the next week to ask if my backsplash was in yet and she said she gave it to [redacted].

I asked you [redacted]-Is this even leagal?

No it isn't if you are a licensed contractor which you claimed to be. You would have had to bring it up to code! That is the law just incase you dont know it.

Yes I realise that [redacted] sent me an email telling me if I put another almost $5000.00 in escrow for him he would come back and finish the project. Right!

Shame on you [redacted] for taking money without doing the job the first time, but if I give you more knowing what I do about you-Shame on Me!!!

Regards,

Business

Response:

I'm not going to resort to a "he said, she said" response. I sent an email on August 3 with my response to Ms [redacted]s' complaint, and there are no changes to that response. Ms [redacted] has refused to sign any of my paperwork as spelled out, or agree to my "LABOR" ONLY contract which we agreed to and pay for my material, or even Escrow it so that I know I will get paid IF I were to complete the contract. So until she agrees, I have no option other than to reject her response as she has done. I have HUNDREDS of satisfied, repeat Customers and it's unfortunate that Ms [redacted] feels the way she does.
