Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
I have found the lack of class and respect from B&B sprinklers appalling, and will gladly lose their phone number In fact my neighbor who is also a plumber (indoor) who recommended this business to me will be enlightened about my experience, and hopefully will modify his referral patterns.
Sincerely,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:You stated that your serviceman was early because his original appointment was cancelled, but that doesn't give you the right to show up before the scheduled time frame and bill me No one shows up to the doctor's office an hour before his/her appointment and expects to be seen right away! We wouldn't expect the doctor to accommodate our mistake, like you expected me to accommodate your mistake The scheduled time I was given by your office was between am and noon That is a hour window that I needed to be available for the serviceman, yet you couldn't even accomplish that task. One way to mitigate future issues would be to call the customer! You could then explain that an earlier appointment has fallen through, and that you'd like to show up earlier than scheduled, thus giving the individual an opportunity to accept or decline Another option (if you don't respect your customers time) is to show up early, and when he/she explains that they weren't ready for you (as explained in my first paragraph) you can accept that as a cancellation for an earlier appointment, and return when the actual appointment is scheduled That way you will not perceive the need to bill them The serviceman should have done what I was expecting him to do, which was to leave immediately and go to another appointment, and return during the pre-scheduled time frame
Sincerely,

I think it is interesting that Mr*** couldn't be bothered to call the office to discuss this until I turned him over to collection. I think this is a very spine less way of dealing with this situation. We hope Mr*** goes away and looses our phone number because we don't want to do business with him ever againI will credit Invoice# *** for $but he must promise to never call us again

I am amazed that Mr. [redacted] was upset because our serviceman was early. The reason our serviceman was early is because there was an appointment scheduled before him but they cancelled and re-scheduled for another day so our serviceman was early.  Mr. [redacted] states that "I only wanted to pay...

him for his plumbing expertise".  Well, that is what Invoice#[redacted] for $72.43 is billing him for.  Mr. [redacted] states that our serviceman gave him an estimate for parts and labor.  That is what he is being billed for.  Mr. [redacted] was told when he called our office to schedule the appointment that he would be charged $67.00 plus tax for our serviceman to come out and assess the repair and if he decided to have us do the work then we would deduct the $67.00 service call. Mr. [redacted] decided to not have us do the work so he was billed.  This has been our policy for many years.  We do not go to someones home for free.  We do not give free estimates on repairs.  We do give free estimates on installations of brand new systems.  I am sorry that our serviceman was unable to return as promised but he ran into a repair that took him 4 hours and there wasn't enough time to return to Mr. [redacted]'s residence.  In a perfect world none of these problems would happen but since we don't live in a perfect world these things do happen and they are beyond our control.  We will not credit the bill.

Review: In the spring of 2013 I had a sprinkler system installed by B&B. There are two reasons I chose B&B over lower estimates, 1. No blowout system: 2. First shutdown in the fall I would be shown how to do it at no cost. In fall of 2013 an employee of B&B came to my home and showed me the shutdown procedure at no cost. In the spring of 2014 when I restarted the system the pipes at the systems manifold were severely cracked and broken from freezing over the winter. I then had B&B come out and repair (warranty) the manifold. The B&B employee who did the repair stated that the employee that shut the system down did not do it correctly..

So on 8/22/2014 I contacted B&B to come out and go through the shutdown process with me again. I was informed that only first shutdown was free and it would cost $55. I stated whereas the first one was done correctly I should not have to pay for this because I was still owed what was promised at the time of purchase. The representative said she would contact the salesperson who made the sale to me. After two days I had been contacted by B&B so I contacted them and was told that I would have to pay for the shutdown because only the first one is free. Where this first shutdown was done and taught incorrectly the sales promise was not fulfilled.Desired Settlement: Fulfill there agreement.

Response:

I received the email concerning Mr. [redacted]'s complaint on 10-2-14. I immediately called Mr. [redacted] and left him a message that if he would call our office we would schedule him for his winterization and it would be at no charge. I also mailed Mr. [redacted] winterization instructions in case he would like to do it himself. I also emailed him a message that said please call our office and we will schedule you for a winterization at no charge. Today is 10-6-14 and I have NOT received a call from Mr. [redacted]. Since Mr. [redacted] chooses to NOT, I don't know what else I can do.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I am however still dissatisfied with this company for poor after sale service. There should have been no need for me to file any complaint in this matter.

Regards,
