[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10668833, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. Although, there are a few discrepancies in the accounts of the events from B&BMy husband, ***, who has zero affiliation with the business, except that he is married to me, the owner, did receive a message on Friday evening from the tech regarding the unavailability of a techand the desire to provide a tow at B&Bs expenseHe and I both tried, unsuccessfully to reach a contact at B&BThat was the final contact we had with anyone at B&B that eveningI did call *** Towing to move my vehicle from lane Stelzer Road because it was in a precarious and heavily trafficked location My desire to get it to a safe location and lack of response from ***, the techforced me to call another companyAs a fun side note, it was successfully hand cranked and started by the *** tech., as I followed the truck with my children in tow at 11PMWe did not cancel a tow I called Saturday am and spoke to *** in the B & B office who informed me the gentlemen were out of town and that he would speak to owner Bill and call me right back He never didBill called me back at 7:on Monday morning and I returned his call at 9:30, at my earliest convenience No mention of a fly wheel and it's replacement was ever discussed I am pleased at the companies desire to correct the issues with my truck, which they have, and what we asked for from the very start We did not ask for a bandage, we asked for a solution I have incurred a significant loss of business, to the tune of $from the original patch job completed by B&B and as I am a new business, a significant loss of customer trust. Our truck is functioning and we are able to work which is all we wanted from the beginning I see no reason to belabor this complaint

Complainant has been a long time customer with B&B Truck & Trailer Repair LLC. Approximately September 1st 2015 [redacted] had his truck towed to our facility for diagnosis. We determined the motor was locked up & would have to be replaced. we provided him with an estimate &...

required deposit for purchase of engine. On September 24, 2015 [redacted] brought us the required amount of deposit. I then ordered the new engine. We pulled bad engine out of customers truck & waited for the new one to arrive. On October 2, 2015 new engine arrived at our shop. After unwrapping new engine we noticed it had been dropped on both sides during shipping. We contacted the supplier to get replacement parts. After further inspection we discovered the new motor was not an exact match to the original engine. Most of all the components had to be changed from bad engine to new engine. We submitted a request for the parts that were damaged during shipping to local dealer on October 5, 2015 & dealt with both the dealer & vender that sent engine to resolve the problem. We completed this engine swing & repair as timely as possible & test drove unit. Engine was not running properly & at that time our diagnostic system was out of service, so we sent customer with his truck to dealer to get a computer diagnostic. Customer was told to bring his truck back with diagnostic results from the dealer & we would make all repairs needed at no cost to customer. Customer picked his truck up from dealer on November 6, 2015 & never returned to our shop for anything, not even to discuss his or pay his bill. Current amount of bill owed to us is $10,116.87 plus we paid the diagnostic charge at the dealer which was $567.23. I contacted customer a few days later to let him know that I was waiting for him to stop back by so we could make repairs according to diagnostic report from dealer. [redacted] stated that he didn't have time & couldn't afford to take the time to do so. I then told him, when he could to call me so I could be prepared to make needed repairs while he waited. He then said that he was still going to stop by shop to pay bill, but couldn't afford to take the time at this time.

Review: The wrong part was replaced on our vehicle. The part that was replaced was the wrong part and caused more extensive damage to the vehicle. We have had the truck inspected by two other mechanics and both have concurred the wrong part was installed as has caused further damage. The company will not return any calls and promised to send assistance while vehicle was stranded. The assistance was not received and vehicle had to be pieced together on the side of the road to get vehicle into a safer location. The vehicle will now need more extensive work to repair the mistake and the services rendered were not necessary, resulted in more damage and were blatantly over priced.Desired Settlement: The money will need to be refunded and the damage caused by repairs will need to be covered. The damages that need to be repaired are a direct result of the work done by this company.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10668833, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. Although, there are a few discrepancies in the accounts of the events from B&B. My husband, [redacted], who has zero affiliation with the business, except that he is married to me, the owner, did receive a message on Friday evening from the tech regarding the unavailability of a tech. and the desire to provide a tow at B&Bs expense. He and I both tried, unsuccessfully to reach a contact at B&B. That was the final contact we had with anyone at B&B that evening. I did call [redacted] Towing to move my vehicle from 4 lane Stelzer Road because it was in a precarious and heavily trafficked location. My desire to get it to a safe location and lack of response from [redacted], the tech. forced me to call another company. As a fun side note, it was successfully hand cranked and started by the [redacted] tech., as I followed the truck with my 4 children in tow at 11PM. We did not cancel a tow. I called Saturday am and spoke to [redacted] in the B & B office who informed me the gentlemen were out of town and that he would speak to owner Bill and call me right back. He never did. Bill called me back at 7:51 on Monday morning and I returned his call at 9:30, at my earliest convenience. No mention of a fly wheel and it's replacement was ever discussed.

B & B Truck and Trailer refuses to return my vehicle after I took it in for a rebuid on the engine in February of 2009. Please help me get my truck. On february of 2009 I ([redacted]) took my truck to get it overhauled(rebuild engine/motor) and I was quoted by ([redacted])the owner of the business that it would be $8,000 for the repair and he told me it would be ready in a month. As of today he continues to give me excuses that he needs more money to complete the work that I already paid him for. Yet he is still insisting that we owe him money for work that we have not seen completed as of today. I am tired of waiting and being taken advantage of so I am submiting this request. I don't know if its because I am a woman or if its because I am ([redacted]) but he is constantly rude and is always avoiding my calls. I went to try and retrieve my truck but he blocked me in after saying it was completed.
