I have done everything in my power to please ***His is a story tellerI did the work he paid me forI got a rough inspectionAll that was left was the finish work, wish I called him and told him I did not have time to completeSo I asked him if he could wait and he said yesThat's way there
was still $left on the balanceBecause that's a final payment when job is 100% doneWhen I first looked at the job I gave him a price of $That's what a job like that goes for, he then said it was to high and he didn't have that much moneySo I felt bad a gave him a discountSo I only charged him $Now when I started the job he one needed an election, which I got him one and the election pulled the permit for the jobThen *** got a unlicensed person to do the electricThe electrical inspector found out that there was an unlicensed person doing the work under some ones licenseThat illegal electrical inspector was not happyNow because I couldn't make it there *** also got some one to finish my work which I told I would finishThe person he had do the plumbing finish work did not know what he was doingThe plumbing inspector did go there and after he left he called meThe plumbing inspector told me that *** had someone working under my license and doing work that was incorrectThe plumbing inspector was not happy and that is AGAIN illegalAfter talking to the inspector he told me that the town of *** is going after *** for doing illegal workThe plumbing inspector told me the best thing for me to do it to cancel my permit and walk away from the jobAlso I told the inspector what was left for a payment and he said that $is more then enough to finish the jobAs for asking *** for more money well thats because the inspector asked me to increase his pipe size for ***s water mainThat was an extra and it was not because it needed to be done, it was the inspector who would like for it to be doneBecause the town of *** has been having problems with the water pressure

30 Day Demand LetterDate: 11/04/2014Under the provisions of [redacted], I hereby make written demand for relief as outlined in that statute.On or about October 8, 2014, the following unfair or deceptive act occurred:1. You failed to complete the contracted plumbing work in the amount of $4,000 at my home located at [redacted];2. You took $3,160 from me, and you left the job;3. You failed to respond to my numerous contacts to finish the job;4. You attempted to charge me the additional extra amount of ~$1,000 for the already contracted job;5. You used various excuses not to show up at work since we signed the contract on July 5, 2014 until this date today (November 4, 2014).This unfair or deceptive act or practice is, in my opinion, declared unlawful by Section 2 of Chapter [redacted].As a result of this unfair or deceptive act or practice, I suffered injury or loss of money as follows:1. I hired another plumber, who is charging me additional $3,600 to finish the job;  2. You cost me time and aggravation since July 5, 2014 until this day today (4 months later- and the job is still not complete).3. The job is still not finished and I can not use my bathrooms;Therefore, I hereby demand the following relief:1. Return the original payment that I already payed to you ($3,160) and pay me the difference to $3,600, so I can hire another plumber to finish the job.2. Pay me additional $100 for each day that you did not show up to work (since October 8, 2014 until today- November 4, 2014). Total of $3,200.Total: $6,800. In addition, please note that I will be demanding $100 for each day from now on until you pay me back.Chapter [redacted] gives you the opportunity to make a good-faith response to this letter within thirty (30) days. Your failure to do so-could subject you to triple damages, attorney's fees and costs if I decide to institute legal action.Sincerely,
