I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me However, there are inaccuracies and lies of ommission in their response Ultimately, we are choosing to drop this matter rather than continue to attempt negotiations with this company and would like to close this complaint

On June 20, the customer contacted usA technician from our company
provided an estimate that same day to replace the customers electrical service as well as
to supply and install nine LED light bulbs(Please see attachment #1.) The customer
called us back and scheduled for us to complete
the bidOn July 10, BC Electric
completed the work listed on the bidThat evening we received a call of one circuit not
working and we returned the next day to remedy the problemAlso on July 11,the
service passed inspection(Please see attachment #2.)
In August or September the homeowner called to say that they were selling the
house and a home inspection done on the property revealed a problem with GFI
receptacles that would need to be replaced before the sale of the home could happen later
that weekPlease notice that replacement of any OFI receptacles was not in the original
bidThe customer was told the schedule was full for the current week and we could
schedule the additional work for a date weeks from the callThe customer said that
time frame would not work in their schedule and they would look elsewhere
Upon receiving the complaint from your office, we contacted the homeowner and
found out that their closing date has been pushed back to November 7thThey have not
had the GFI receptacles changed as of yet and have since contracted for us to complete
the new work of changing out ten GFI receptacles at our standard rate of $each at 9:
am on October 20, The total of $to change the ten GFI receptacles is
substantially lower than the close to $the home inspector mentioned to believe the
cost would be

Review: BC electric was contracted to evaluate our home electrical system and repair any deficiencies. On July 10, 2014 they installed a new circuit breaker and repaired wiring and the conduit to our meter. After the electricians left we identified that a part of the house had no electric. BC was called to repair it and they reported that the worker failed to connect a ground wire. OVer the course of the next several weeks the electric was intermittent in that same part of the house. they were called to repair it once again and found that the previous worker had miswired the panel. they charged us to repair this error. Subsequently we sold our home and in the home inspection found that the GFI outlets failed inspection. We contacted BC to repair prior to sale and they would not accommodate us in the timeframe needed despite the deficiency being linked to their failure to complete the work they were paid and contracted to complete on July 10.Desired Settlement: The estimated cost to repair the remaining deficiencies in the GFI outlets is approximately $800 according to the home inspector. We would like that amount refunded to us so we can contract another electrician to complete the repairs.

Upon receiving the complaint from your office, we contacted the homeowner and

am on October 20, 2014. The total of $300 to change the ten GFI receptacles is

substantially lower than the close to $800 the home inspector mentioned to believe the

cost would be.
