According to the second staff member, Mr. [redacted] WAS allowed the choice to box or not to box and the declared value issue was explained.There is no [redacted] issue, as [redacted] DOES NOT open packages from UPS or any other carrier. Even if he had put it in a box, he did not ship it via an airline. If he had used UPS Express, it still would have to be in a box, UPS does not open the cartons. Also, the case is LOCKED with two heavy duty locks and is not openable anyway.When I talked with Mr. [redacted] on 4/16, I shared with him that UPS had denied the claim and why. I filed an appeal and spoke with Mr. [redacted] on May 12th. [redacted] then said that he would take care of it himself. Since we had already appealed it once, and since Mr. [redacted] presented a loud, overbearing and intimidating persona, we let him. I have placed a third appeal to UPS. I will update [redacted] Revdex.com with the update. It generally takes about one week to hear back.
