B-Cool Air Conditioning, Heating and Handyman Service

I hired [redacted] of B-Cool Heating and Air Conditioning and Handyman Service to do a remodel of my bathroom. He stated he could perform the work I was requesting. Work began on 8/29/12. The contract we agreed upon was half of the money paid when the work began and the remaining paid when work was completed. The total amount was $1205.00. I paid him $602.50 prior to beginning the work. [redacted] began by removing floor and fixtures on 8/29/12. He then had a person come in to begin the tiling. He did not supervise the tiling. He did not tell him everything that was to be tiled even after I confirmed with him before the work began what I wanted done. When I complained about the quality of the tile work and scheduled a meeting between him, the tile person and myself he did not show up and stated "he didn't think he needed to be there because he knew what the tile person was going to say". He was not present for any tile work and repeatedly stated he didn't know anything about tile. He began removal of the bathtub drain and couldn't complete it so he called a plumber. I gave [redacted] an additional$290.00 for the plumber of which I later found out the plumber only wanted $225. A pipe broke during the installation of a toilet. [redacted] not only was not present but when called did not come for 2 1/2 hours. From that point on [redacted] came once to see if the sheetrock that was damaged had been removed, once to bring a humidifier and once to improperly install molding and paint the wall with a paint brush and incorrectly installed faucet. All of his work had to be repaired by other people for which I paid for separately. He never returned to help fix the things that were damaged, he never completed the job he never returned my calls,he never returned the plumbers calls, never showed up to help the plumber and the sheet rock person when scheduled. I incurred additional costs of paying the plumber, sheet rock person, additional paints and supplies. He broke his contract and never completed job.
