Jukabutski Inc operates under the name of B and D Improvements in Wausau. They are subcontractor. They do not do the work themselves but have people they hire to do the work. I WOULD NOT EVER HIRE THEN AGAIN. I had then do a reroof. They shingled over rotten sheathing and told me that it was warped, never used the word rotten. They also damaged the siding on a adjacent wall while installing rolled flashing (not step flashing) to the point that now the siding is leakinmg and will need to be replaced.
When I called them on it, they agreed to repair the roof. Because they claim they told me that the sheathing was rotten, I had to pay for the repair work. They agreed to remove the shingles, replace the rotten sheathing and re-shingle the roof. Their estimate included new sheathing, new ice and a water barrier, new shingles and labor. What I received was 6 rows of ripped shingles, and a piece of water and ice barrier tacked to the bottom (was visible from soffit) and two pieces of aluminum attached over the bottom of original rotten sheathing. When I complained, I was told that they made a good faith attempt to repair but were unable to due to cold.

This company is nothing but a joke do not let these people into your home not only will the work be done half [redacted] but they will lie and steal from you!! I would NEVER recommend them to anyone sad that a company says that their word means something doesn't know the meaning of it!!

Review: We are filing this complaint on behalf of my mother, [redacted]. She had her roof shingled and new vents installed on 10/12/12 by B & D Improvements and paid in full on 10/12/12. On 9/7/14, water leaked through the roof, into a 2nd story cedar closet, went through the floor and came through her kitchen ceiling, resulting in damage to the cedar flooring upstairs and to the ceiling in the kitchen (ceiling has very large crack and drywall is all bubbled up). Since September 7, 2014, there is increased damage to the kitchen ceiling and floor above with potential to affect the electrical and structural integrity of the kitchen ceiling, resulting in a possible safety hazard. On 9/10 or 9/11, she received a phone call stating that they were not ignoring her, they were very busy and there were 2 people out on vacation and someone would be out in a couple of days. My mother has called and left voicemails on 9/7, 9/8 (twice), 9/9, and 9/20, at which time they hung up on her.Desired Settlement: B&D Improvements to repair/replace all defective roofing/vent/etc to prevent any future leaks within warranty period. B&D Improvements to be responsible for any costs related to the repair of any damages resulting from larking roof/vents.
