February 21, 2017Attn: *** ***,On Monday February 20, we received a letter from your office telling us
that “a complaint about your business”, had been sent to you from Johnie WD*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** Your letter was dated Thursday, February 16, 2017.The content of the letter was very disappointing for me to read, and I agree is not acceptable nor typical performance by our employees What also concerns me is that in MrD***s letter to you he indicated that he, “Talked to Company” on 2/12/ This was a Sunday and we were not in the office We did speak on Monday, 2/13/2017, and MrD***’s grandson told me pretty much what was in the letter During that phone call, after offering an embarrassing apology, I assured him that I would have employees at their home later that week to correct these problems On Friday, 2/17/this was done What disappoints me is that even though I had told them that we would be there by 2/17/to take care of their concerns, they still filed a complaint with you on 2/15/2017, which is obviously prior to the date when they expected us to be at their home My point is, I did not challenge their claims, I assured them that their experience was unacceptable performance by our employees, and within a week of completing their project, their concerns were corrected I believe you will agree that it is a rare occasion when something like this happens to us, but no one is perfect, and I believe that we responded in a timely, professional manner to resolve the customer’s concerns.Based upon my conversation with the foreman that addressed these issues, I believe that we have complied with the “Desired Settlement” as stated in the letterHowever, if the *** family stills has questions of concerns about this project, please contact us so that we can have an amicable resolution.
