This establishment had a representative who towed my vehicle. Firstly rates not displayed at office. Secondly vehicle damaged during towing.
Approximately 4:45 am I left my friend's home to go to work. My car was missing and I called the # posted to ask if tow company had my car. Driver said yes and gave me address. I went to facility and was told fee was $300. I asked where was these rates posted. He pulled a piece of paper from a bulletin board and said these were rates. No rates displayed visibly in facility. After some exchange with driver, which was videoed, He said if I had a better attitude he would have only charged me $150 drop charge. I was videoing entire transaction. Because he was not comfortable he called police on me and was told by officer it was NOT illegal to record transaction. Once I paid $300 after leaving premises before daybreak I realized my car was damaged. I repeatedly ask for him to call owner for me to speak to but he refused. Not willing to give me owner's name or contact number. Upon leaving driver drove away recklessly and upon asking him to return did the same. I have a witness to all facts and taped majority of incident as well. Driver claims he has pictures of damage but stated "how did he know I didn't damage my own car when I left the lot?" On receipt no damage indicated anywhere and car was not drive-able with said damage. Damage to truck was noticed less than 25 feet from his front door.
I called police who gave me a report # and informed me this was a civil matter. Driver ([redacted]) refused to give me owners name or call owner to inform him of damage to my vehicle. I have entire conversation on video of driver's firstly unacceptable rudeness, secondly of facility with no rates posted, thirdly of failure to inspect vehicle with driver present, fourthly driver having me in tow truck with car attached while dropping car. Damage to car(Jeep Wrangler) is concentrated only on right side of car and under bumper which is pushed into rear right wheel. No paint visible and bumper is crushed. I have contacted my insurance company to launch a full investigation.
