An estimate was done in the beginning of June and emailed to [redacted] on June 4, The estimate was to supply bundles of wood, lace the new wood into the existing flooring in areas, re-sand, fill, stain, and finish the hardwood floors with coats of PREMIUM grade polyurethane She agreed to the estimate and the flooring was ordered and delivered to her house approxJune 8, The total for the estimate, of which I have paperwork and receipts for) was $2,570.00, NOT $4, as she is claiming. The work was done mid June There were an additional $of repairs that were not forseen at the estimate, which then made the total invoice $2,770.00, AGAIN NOT $4,as she is claiming[redacted] paid a deposit of $1,when the job was started, which left a balance of $1,The work was completed at the time with coats of polyurethane and [redacted] paid another $1,495.00, leaving a remaining balance of $200,to be paid when the final coat of polyurethane was appliedShe had other projects going on and by finishing those first, it would allow us to come in shortly thereafter to do the final coat of polyurethane and .fix any scuffs/light scratches etc., that may have occured while other things were being doneJuly B, the flnal coat of polyurethane was applied and [redacted] paid the remaining $balance.Did not hear from [redacted] again until the end of March/beginning of April 2017, which was months later, not in a "few months" when she claims the "wear' started happeningShe said there was a spot in front of her couch that looked like Bob had missed when he was coating the floorI told her that didn't sound right because there is no way that he could of stained the floor and coated the floor three times and yet somehow missed the same spot each time.Rob stopped by her house to look at the floor and there was a spot in front of a chair that looked dulled or somewhat wornWhat [redacted] failed to mention is that her elderly mother or mother in-law also lives with them and sits in front of this areaThe damage there is consistent with someone who sits and shuffles their feet back and forthIt's a constant abrasive rubbing on the floor! I am rejecting this response because:  She is not telling the truth.  I will accept the fact of the price since she has receipts and I do not.($2,570).  BUT when Bob came to do the floors all other work had been completed because we waited until it was done before we did the floors in order to NOT have anything happen to them.  AND there is not a big pet stain in front of the door as she claims and how would she know because she has never been to the house.  She is welcome to come and see if she doesn't believe me.  There is a pet stain in front of the door about 4" around and I told Bob and he agreed that it was not his fault. And I told him I didn't expect him to repair that.  Also I NEVER told her that it was a spot that BOB missed in his work.  He didn't miss any spots.  I never claimed he did.  IF he had I would never have signed off on the work.  The dates she claims are correct.  I said it started to wear a few months after completion of the work and within 6 months there was a "bald" spot.  I didn't say that is when I contacted them.  Yes, my elderly mother lived with us but she did not sit in that spot and Bob knew that because when he was here I believe my mother was sitting in the recliner where she always sat.  The spot is in front of the sofa where I sit.  He said it looked like scuff marks.  I told him I don't wear shoes in the house and either have me slippers or socks on. He suggested to wear socks so it didn't get worse until he could fix it.  I agreed.   He told me he would stand behind his work and fix the spot.  He said to call his wife Emily when the weather was nice enough to have the windows open to avoid having so many fumes.  I thanked him, took HIM at his word and waited a couple of months to do as he had asked.  When I called his wife all I got from her was a run around of he was either too busy at the time on another job, not in our area at the time, or another excuse.  I explained to her what Bob had told me.  I believed him when he said he stands behind his work.  And I think HE was telling the truth.  I think it is Emily that is not wanting to schedule the repair.  IF she can't honor her husbands word then she needs to return the money so that I can go to a reputable company that will staand behind their work and business.  There is no way that a floor should wear that much in that short of time.  I have talked to several people about it - that work in construction - and they have said the same thing.  I tried talking to Emily and getting things settled calmly as adults.  She would rarely return the phone calls and when she did it was always with some excuse. I finally told her I was contacting the Revdex.com.  I don't care how long they've been in business.  When you have a business like that you stand behind your work.  Respectfully,[redacted]

An estimate was done in the beginning of June
2016 and emailed to [redacted] on June 4, 2016.
The estimate was to supply 2 bundles of wood, lace the new wood into the existing flooring in 2 areas, re-sand, fill,
stain, and finish the hardwood floors with 3 coats of PREMIUM grade polyurethane....

She agreed to the estimate and the
flooring was ordered and delivered to
her house approx. June
8, 2016. The total for the estimate, of which I have paperwork and receipts for) was $2,570.00, NOT $4,000.00
as she is claiming. The work was done mid
June 2016. There were an additional $200.00 of repairs that were not forseen at the estimate, which then made
the total invoice $2,770.00, AGAIN NOT $4,000.00 as she is claiming.[redacted] paid a deposit of $1,075.00 when the job
was started, which left a balance of $1,695.00. The work was completed at the
time with 2 coats of polyurethane and [redacted] paid another $1,495.00, leaving a remaining balance of $200,00 to be
paid when the final coat of
polyurethane was applied. She had other projects going on and by finishing those first, it would allow us to come in shortly
thereafter to do the final coat of polyurethane
and .fix any scuffs/light scratches etc., that may have occured while other things were being done. July B, 2016 the flnal
coat of polyurethane was applied and [redacted]
paid the remaining $200.00 balance.Did not hear from [redacted] again until the end of
March/beginning of April 2017, which was
10 months later, not in a "few months" when she claims the
"wear' started happening. She
said there was a spot in front of her couch that looked like Bob had missed when he was coating the floor. I told her
that didn't sound right because there is
no way that he could of stained the floor and coated the floor three times and
yet somehow missed the same spot
each time.Rob stopped by her house to look at the floor and there was a
spot in front of a chair that looked
dulled or somewhat worn. What [redacted] failed to mention is that her elderly mother or mother in-law also lives with them and
sits in front of this area. The damage there is consistent with someone who
sits and shuffles their feet back and forth. It's a constant abrasive rubbing on the floor! Also, the
room(s) are empty when the floor is being
coated and it would be extremely odd or impossible that the place he could possibly miss three times is exactly in front of
this chair. [redacted] did not show Bob any other
areas like “doorways" as she states. However, there was a noticeable pet
stain around the front doorway, which will damage the flooring.THE ISSUE WITH THIS FLOOR IS NOT A
RESULT OF OUR WORKMANSHIP. We cannot
warranty how a customer cares for their floor. Its unfortunate that she feels
this way. I wish we had pictures of
the before and after because the transformation was amazing. We have been in business for over 20 years and never had an issue such as this or a customer such as this. We use top
quality produd:s on all of our jobs. We purchase materials from a flooring supplier, not your local "big
box" store. The polyurethane
that is used is a professional grade and is among the best in the industry. We have an excellent reputation with our customers
and builders/contractors who we work
for. The majority of our work is referrals. There is no "FRAUD" as
she is trying to claim. She would
like us to take blame for something that is not our fault and is a direct result of not properly caring for her new floors.
