Review: On February 5, 2013 I brought my 2008 Chevy Impala in for service at B and E garage because the engine light was on and my [redacted] vehicle diagnostic indicated that I needed a 100,00 mile service, and I had a oil leak. I spoke with [redacted] the mechanic and Mr. V. [redacted] the [redacted]. They indicated that the error that caused the engine light to come on was some type of sensor, but they were not sure. I agreed to have the oil changed, the spark plugs, spark plug wires, the transmission fluid and the screen, as well as the engine air filter. I was quoted a price of 605.00 which included parts and labor, that Mr. [redacted] said was guaranteed for 12 months. It was around 10:00am when I left my car to be repaired. At approximately 3:30 PM [redacted] the mechanic called to say everything had been done on the car except for the oil leak, because the gasket needed was a dealers part. [redacted] asked me to pick up the part and bring it to him, so he could repair the leak. My boyfriend picked me up at 4:30, I picked up the part and withdrew 600. from my checking account. By the time we made it to the shop in rush hour traffic, it was close to 6:00PM. When I arrived I discovered that my engine light was still on. I was also told that [redacted] could put the gasket on, because he was finished for the day. I was not pleased and made it clear to the [redacted] and [redacted] that the job was not complete. Mr. [redacted] apologized for the inconvenience and stated that the engine light was on possibly because of the sensor mentioned earlier and the leak. I returned on February 10, 2013 to have the gasket installed, but the light was still on. [redacted] still insisted that this sensor was the problem, but it was Sunday and nothing could be done. On Feb.18,2013 my car displayed a low oil pressure message. I eventually had to take my car to the dealership, and was told that my Electrical harness had been cut and it would cost 695.00. Mr. [redacted] originally agreed to pay for damages and paid me 400. But recently has refused to pay the entire amount.Desired Settlement: Mr. [redacted] admitted fault, and has paid me 400. I want him to pay the remaining balance of 395.00 as previously agreed.
Review: Repair was done on my vehicle to replace a pinion seal in the rear differencial. The repair was not done correctly and caused extensive damage to the rest of the rear differencial. Resulting in over $2200 to fix the damage done by a repair costing $500.00. The owner admitted responsibility and said that he would cover the damage, yet will not return calls and will not cover the damage caused by his shop employee.Desired Settlement: Cover the cost of the damage done to my vehicle.
