the business owners response was typical, "I don't think this was one of my customers", but I have the receipt for the dollar deposit, so he would have to change his story on that Regards, [redacted] ***

According to Massachusetts lemon law ( M.G.L. c. 90 §7N 1/4) Warranty Repairs: The defects must arise during the warranty period. Customer must return the vehicle to the dealer for repairno more than five business days after the expiration date of the warranty period. The dealer may charge...

you a onetime$100 deductible, but only if this amount is written on your copy of the warranty. Our customer never contacted us to let us know that she have a problem with the AC. And went directly to her mechanic to fix the A.C , I was gonna be more than happy to help her if she did contact us letting us know that she have a problem with the A.C(( Copy of massachusetts lemon law attached ))

I don't think this is one of my customers

Review: I am a Maryland resident. I traveled to the "dealer" to purchase a vehicle "AS IS WARRANTY". The "dealer" had no car fix problems noted, and claimed he had the car inspected. No problems appeared at initial site until a day after. I noticed that the vehicle would not park with the emergency break engaged. I checked the undercarriage and notice (the parking brake cable) was broken. On 9/30/2015 I went to an Certified inspection station in MD ([redacted]). They reported that the car is "Very dangerous*. The seriousness of it included: frame damage, brake and fuel lines almost fully incapable, muffler, all 4 tires bad, NO emergency parking brake function able, and the serpentine belt worn. I CANNOT PASS INSPECTION! The estimated total to fix this is: $5,000 or more including shop labor and parts. I was not notified of this prior to purchasing the vehicle. If the "dealer" went to an "authorized" PA inspection station, how could they have passed this vehicle. I've only had it for (3 weeks). I also asked the "dealer" for the inspectors phone number, he refused to give it to meDesired Settlement: Full refund and exchange or fix care problems.

Response:

Was not aware of any issues with the car. Did not claim that I had the car inspected. Told the customer ithas a current PA Inspection. When I purchased the car, it had a current inspection. Do not know whoinspected the vehicle. The customer brought a car jack and jack stands and asked if he could use this toinspect the car on my lot. I had no problem with him doing that. Customer jacked the car up, put it onjack stands and inspected the whole underneath of the vehicle. After that passed his inspection, thecustomer took the car for a lengthy test drive. Came back and wanted money off for tires, stating thathe would have to get tires soon. I also agreed to that. Took off a sufficient amount for that. Customerstill wasn’t satisfied wanted more money off because he made the trip from Maryland. I , also, agreed tothat. Called the inspection station where he said it would be $5,000 in repairs and the gentleman I spokewith said he doesn’t know where he got the price of $5,000, because that is not what he quoted him.Customer signed a buyers guide before purchase of the vehicle, which states right on it a list of somemajor defects that may possibly occur with used vehicles. The only accurate statement in this complaint,is that the customer is from Maryland. Did everything I could to please the customer upon purchase. Heis now asking for more than what he paid me for the vehicle.
