Review: I brought my vehicle in to get checked thinking that I needed a new battery because it wouldn't start up. The manager at the repair shop told me to bring it in and let it sit overnight so that they can duplicate the issue since I told them that it seemed to not want to start after sitting overnight. I inquired about the repair process. I asked him if the repairs were more than what I would be willing to pay then could I just take the car somewhere else. He notified me that I would still have to pay the $69 diagnostic fee. I specifically inquired about the diagnostics testing and asked if they would make sure to test my batter since I thought that was the issue. He called me the next day and informed me that the diagnostic test was clean except that I needed spark plugs replaced. My car was manufactured in 2011 and I purchased the vehicle in 2012. I do know that with model cars 2008 or newer the spark plugs should be replaced at 100,000 miles and my car does not even have 60,000 miles on it. I took his word for it and a day later my car will not start and I get it towed to the dealership this time. They ran diagnostics on my car and concluded my battery was not functioning properly and needed replacement. They also found an issue with my engine cooling sensor.Desired Settlement: My only desired outcome is that they refund me money. I was ripped off under false pretenses and when I went to speak with them they refused to give me my money. They did not run a diagnostic test on my vehicle because if they did they would have discovered what was really wrong.
