Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted] ***the business did not offer to pay me back for the tow otherwise I would’ve did it [redacted] told me and I quote I respectful decline andall I want is the dollars it cost for me to replace the housing part was not covered under a warranty I have no reason to lie I like his work I’ve coming there for years that’s why I didn’t understand when he told me he decline

This thermostat housing in question, [redacted] had stated he had changed before he brought it inHe stated he knew a little about cars and try to do some repairs himselfHe’s a friend of a long time customer, so we did the best to take care of himThe reason that we had the car for so long is because we were waiting for [redacted] to give us the okay on the work, which was about a week before we heard back from himWe completed the job, replaced the water pump, took it for a test drive, no leaks and no problems were foundHe picked up the car and he called days later stating that something that the thermostat was leakingAll we did with the work was replaced the water pump and removed some hoses and replaced themAs I explained to [redacted] we will take a look at it and if it was something we did wrong, we would fix the issue and we would deal with housing situationHe said he would not pay for a tow or to bring it back upI told him I would reimburse the tow if it was something caused by our workI was willing to inspect the issue and help in any way I could

I work on her whole family's vehicles. I resolved her situation she came in for, noticed her car was out of oil, and changed it. I refunded [redacted]'s money to her, though she was in need of the oil change.

We completed the job, replaced the water pump, took it for a test drive, no leaks and no problems were found. He picked up the car and he called 4 days later stating that something that the thermostat was leaking. All we did with the work was replaced the water pump and removed some hoses and replaced them. As I explained to [redacted] we will take a look at it and if it was something we did wrong, we would fix the issue and we would deal with housing situation. He said he would not pay for a tow or to bring it back up. I told him I would reimburse the tow if it was something caused by our work. I was willing to inspect the issue and help in any way I could.
