The customer was told when he ordered that there was an estimated wait time of 13 weeks.  I talked to him originally on 9/27 but didn’t receive his check until 10/17.  He wrote the check on 10/3 and was mailed on 10/6.  He was told that he would not get put onto the build board until...

we got full payment.  During this time we had other orders come in.  Since October, November, December and January are our busiest time of the year.  We get a lot of orders during this time.  We told him about this when we talked with him.  He said he would get at check out ASAP so he could get on the build board.  We didn’t get his check for over 2 weeks.  He also forgot to mention to the Revdex.com in his complaint that he didn’t like how close the turbo was to the apron so he wanted it to be moved closer to the engine so we had to build a new header, crossover and downpipe for the passanger side.  I told him that I would just finish that kit out and give it to another customer and remake his ……any delays on his kit was due to these two factors.  He was told that changing his order would delay his kit and he was fine with it. His kit was delivered on 4/13/2015 at 12:12 and on 4/14/2015 [redacted] called us around 12:00 and told us his stuff was packaged very badly.  We could not believe what we were hearing because our product is packaged very securely with lots of dividers and peanuts.   After hearing a description of the box we realized that was not our double walled box we sent.  We have used the double walled boxes for 10 years on all of our full kits and have never had one break open.  He stated that there was two boxes taped together and there were no packing peanuts.  We knew right away something happened during shipment.  We contacted UPS right away to see if they knew anything about what happened to it.  They did not know anything about it so we started a claim right away for the missing Blow Off Valve (BOV).  They wanted to see the damaged box so we called [redacted] back at 3:30on 4/14 to get him to send us a picture of the box.  At that time he told us he got rid of the box, and it had already been taken to the trash.   The package was not insured because he denied insurance.  The package had to be signed for which it was on 4/13/15 at 12:12 but we didn’t hear from him until 4/14 around noon. In closing as the UPS printout shows it was delivered on 4/13 at 12:12 signed for by [redacted]. We started the claim on 4/14 right after we received his call.  On 4/14 at 3:27 UPS scheduled an inspection of the damage package and content.  On 4/17 the claim for the missing BOV was denied because the box was thrown out.  [redacted] being a business man himself knows full well that if you get a box that is damaged you don’t sign for it  or at least make a claim with the driver about the damage.  If you would sign for it and see the damage you DON’T throw away the box and you get pictures of it.   Which we never received any pictures of the damage box.  We believe it was damaged and repackaged by UPS but without the box we will never know.  Even if he had full insurance (which he denied) his claim still would have been denied because he didn’t keep the “damaged” box or even take pictures of it.The last time I heard from [redacted] about the BOV was on 4/19 and I told him the claim was denied and and we would just have to wait to see if UPS finds it.   [redacted] has not contacted us multiple times as he has said.  The next time I heard from him was n 8/18 he wanted to know if we were going to send him a BOV or what.  I told him what I said back on 4/19 about how the claim was denied and I was not going to eat the cost of it.  At that time he asked if I really wanted to do this as he threatened me with the threat “He will burn us into the ground and destroy our business reputation through the internet.” I told him to  do whatever he felt he had to do.Please see attachments
