B & G Lawn Mower Repair

I purchased a lawn mower part for $272.00, which I didn't end up needing. At the time of purchase, I was not informed that this business did not give refunds on electrical parts. On the day of purchase, April 16, 2013, there were no signs in the store stating this policy, I wasn't informed by the business worker, nor was there anything written on my receipt. When I returned the part to the store, I was informed that I would not receive a refund. I asked the worker, who I presumed was the business owner, why I was not informed of this policy at the time of purchase, he replied "That there are signs hanging up". When I said "I do not see any signs." The man looked for the signs and said "I must have forgotten to put them up", and continued to refuse to give me a refund. I never used the part, it is in the same condition which I received it.
