We were initially hired by Ms [redacted] and her bank to do repairs in her basementWe were paid in full for the repairs in her basement but never paid in full for the windowsMs [redacted] stopped work before we could complete any of the work she listened to another company that has low rating score on their companyWe atemted to try and work with her to try and resolve this issue she would not allow for anuthing to happenMs [redacted] went into social media and slandered along with deformation of character myself and my businessWe informed Ms [redacted] that trim needed to be done both in front and in rear of the window neither of which were allowed to be done.?

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I submitted the insurance claim with direction from Bill [redacted] and the work written up in the quote/insurance claim was NEVER completed!!! How does that benefit me exactly? Had he used some of that $12k towards the windows as promised MAYBE I would have benefit from that money to SOME DEGREE I have not only an "unfinished" basement but also a horrendous hack job of a window install that I have to fix The few pieces of drywall that he installed in the basement (for the $that he actually pocketed as a result of the insurance claim) has now molded due to seepage in the basement when the ground defrosted (the exact reason why I did not want drywall in my basement) These are $windows and I requested roughly times from Mr [redacted] an invoice copy to prove they were NOT $American Standard by Anderson from Home Depot that were not ordered to fit my house I asked him to prove it and I will believe that you haven't completely lied to me from day one This would very easily prove that they were $windows that he told me were being custom ordered directly from Anderson He refused to give me an invoice copy because I was "treating him like crap" In regards to other companies that are trying to solicit my businessI have had EuroTech, Home DepotAND Feldco at this point and have one more estimate coming and with 9, 12, and years of experience INCLUDING the actually installer walking through my home have ALL said this is the worst install job they have ever seen Bill should have NEVER used new construction windows He should have never removed all of the brickmould around all of my windows and only replaced what was ACTUALLY rotten He removed it ALL and never planned on replacing it and his original contract states that he will be replacing trim INSIDE and OUT He should have never removed all of the trim in my home He literally used some of the OLD trim in my house to "reframe" my old windows He used OLD insulation to surround the windows and you can see outside when you remove the insulation The windows in my boys room are not even attatched to the house at the top and you can see outside The "wall" that was built in my boys room you can literally see outside between the old and new drywall!! that is NOT OK!! Bill [redacted] can prove all he wants that I put him on blast on FB and I absolutely did I will continue to spread the word and warn EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT I CAN to not let him ruin their home He's not licensed in WI, not sure if he's even insured or licensed in IL He does not follow lead safe practices nor does he educate homeowners about contractor fraudbecause HE IS A FRAUD If I don't get a single dime of my money back if I know that I have done my part not to let him do this to anyone else! I am rejecting this response because:Bill *** was originally hired to repair a leak in my basement that he deemed to be a "burst pipe". He assessed the damage and told me to submit an insurance claim for the damage. He quoted damage in my basement that never existed and deemed years old water damage to be damage as a result of the "burst pipe". This is where the lies began. I explained to him that I did not want the basement redone because of my home being old and previous water damage there would again be water in my basement. He quoted $12,of damage to my insurance company in which I am in contact in regards to the fraudulent activity that he performed. I am in contact with the bank as well. I was a single mother months pregnant with my twin daughters and just wanted the work DONE. He continued to encourage me to just push forward that "he would make this happen." I didn't want the basement finished and he told me I could just use the money towards the new windows I needed for my home. Bill originally had one of his employees paint the basement to make it look like "new" to see if that would pass the inspection that the bank required to release the check directly to him. After the painting I told him it looked horrible and there was no way this looked "new". He needed to hang drywall and repaint to make it even look close to presentable in which me made me pay out of pocket for that work. The work in the basement was all paid for out of pocket. The inspector from the bank did not look at the claim details which included an entire basement overhaul including carpeting. He approved the work without confirming the work was even done. Then Bill was released the $12k check from the bank directly and pocketed the cash. The only way for me to get the money that was actually MINE was to have Bill do the window work on my home. The original and only contract I have from him was for $15,500. This included windows to be purchased by Bill *** and doors to be purchased by me and installation to be done by Bill ***. We then decided to add on an additional windows including a door to window conversion. This was not in writing. Bill was given an additional $9,in March of prior to the work beginning on my home. Bill conveyed to me that the custom windows he was ordering were from Andersen direct at $400/ea. Once the install begin I was concerned to the quality of the install and the "missing" windows in the front of my home that he insterted plywood in replacement. Lied to me about the window in my bedroom that was smaller than it was supposed to be that come to find out should have been the "missing" window in the dining room. Then he told me that I wanted privacy in my kitchen and that's why he only hung two windows in my kitchen which again was a lie. The siding company set to install after Bill was complete came to my house and told me he could not install the siding because the windows were done so horribly. He told me to stop the work immediately and get a restraining order against Bill. That this was the worst hack job he's seen in the years of business installing siding and windows. Bill got into a screaming match with our siding guy defending his work. In good faith I brought Home Depot out to speak to the windows he actually got directly from them for $100/ea. Home Depot also stated that it's the worst install job they had ever seen and everything would have to be gutted and the correct windows installed. This is going to cost me $15k-$17k to correct. Bill has been a fraud since day one and due to the fact that I had been friends with him for years I TRUSTED HIM. Unfortunately I am left with windows hacked into my house and holes everwhere, no insulation around the windows and bugs and rain coming into my home. If I thought there was any way for Bill to fix this I would have let him. It's not fixable. I have children in my home including month old babies and I have to live like this until I can get the correct CUSTOM fit windows ordered and installed into my home in which I have to pay directly out of pocket for. I haven't gained ANYTHING but pain and suffering from this experience and I demand justice. He is a theif and a fraud and as a result of my hour FB post several of his past clients and ex-friends have reached out to me to tell me that he is a fraud and a con and has been stealing money from his customers for years. He brags about all of the money he makes and how he consistently screws people over. Not to mention the Kenosha County Sheriff was at my home because of a fight he got into in MY DRIVEWAY and never even told me about. He's a scary and dangerous human being and he needs to be stopped immediately!
