I used them for a few years; once in a while they would say they removed snow or mowed when they did not. I was home on those days and I would get the bill later and would have to call them to remind them that they never showed up and then they would say it was just a billing error and reverse the charge. Sometimes I would have to call and remind them to plow or mow or shovel my walk, all services I had contracted for, but if it was busy there was a good change it would not get done or get done late. I have disabled children who have caregivers coming every day and cannot afford to have them miss me, which they occasionally did without explanation. My husband is a healthcare professional and he is out the door early. Not asking that they be here before him, but come on, be here before he gets home at 8:00 p.m. and on some days they were not.
One day I got a letter saying they were so busy that they were dropping some customers due to their new business plan, with no real explanation. We got every service they provided; lawn care, snow removal, fertilizing, weeding, tree and hedge trimming, spring and fall clean-up, landscaping, always paid our bills on time, etc. I called and asked if it was due to my calling about their missing some mowings, or shoveling or times they claimed to have mowed or plowed when they had not been there. The secretary was clearly uncomfortable and said of course not. I asked if they stopped servicing our area, she said no, was not sure why they dropped us, and would have Bill or Dale call me back. Of course they never did. So good luck to them with their new business plan. A mutual friend had recommended them but I am so very sorry I used them and would just say buyer beware. Make sure if they say they mow or plow that they really do, don't pay for it if they don't do it, because there were times when a charge appeared on my bill when I knew they were not there, and if you are not keeping track you might not be aware.
