First off we aren't liars, we don't appreciate being called that. Mistakes do happen but being called a liar isn't polite or proper
The first time you ordered this, we sent them item but it fell within a Friday (no USPS pickup) and a weekend and a holiday. We shipped it out, you called
to complain that it didn't go out immediately when you orderedYou asked to cancel your order, so we canceled your order, canceled the shipment and refunded your money in full
This shipment, I am not sure what happened. We DID ship it, if we didn't ship it, we wouldn't have charged your card and you would NOT have a tracking number. Once we charge a card (or PayPal), we pack and ship them order and generate a tracking number with the shipping label. We then put it on the USPS table for pickup. I checked all the other tracking numbers sent that day and all of them have been delivered or scanned into the system. Yours just says Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item
It was sent out on Wednesday, November 16th at 2:59pm. This means it probably didn't make the cut-off for Wednesday (our pickup is anywhere from noon to 3pm) and got picked up Thursday. You filed this complaint Friday, November 18th. We are not able to file a USPS insurance claim for days which would be Thursday the 24th. If it doesn't turn up by then we will file a claim on the 28th of November and resend out your package. (the 24th is Thanksgiving and we are closed until Monday the 28th)
Sorry this happened and we want to get you your package but maybe it would be best to just refund your money?
Thanks

Sorry in the delay in response, the Revdex.com had an old email address. We now have this email address being forwarded to us so we will not miss another.Yes, we talked with customer about the shifting issue and decided something must be wrong with the transfer case. We enlisted our builder to
rebuild another transfer case, free of charge, to replace the one that had shifting issues. Upon receiving the new transfer case, *** called our builder because they still couldn't get it to shift correctly. He asked them some things to check and it turns out the shift linkage was bound up. We suspect this was the issue with the original transfer case but still stood behind our warranty. We told the customer that we would pay for the removal and installation of the above transfer case. He told us it was $360. We requested the invoice so we could pay it. We left messages and emails and never heard back. We are still willing to pay this $but without paperwork we will not pay this
Customer says an internal seal is leaking. If customer is referring to the input shaft seal (the seal that the transmission shaft goes into), there are a few things that could have happenedall of which are very common. If *** put the transfer case on the shaft and left it hanging there, this will ruin the seal. *** should know the proper way to install this, which is to install it with a transmission jack so the weight of the transfer case is NOT hanging on that shaft and the seal. Another way is to install long threaded rods to slide the transfer case over to take the weight. Most people (and shops) just dead lift the case, put it on the shaft and then turn it to tighten the bolts, this WILL ruin the seal
Another cause of this seal leaking is the transmission output shaft having a ridge in it where the old seal rode but this is far less common
Customer paid $to have transfer case removed and reinstalled because his original one was bad. Customer paid $to have a transfer case removed and reinstalled because the shop couldn't get the linkage set up properly. We have offered to pay for this -- and still will -- once we receive an invoice
Customer said an internal seal was leaking, did not contact us in any way and took it upon himself to have it fixed without talking to us regarding warranty
We would love to make this right but cannot help if customer does not contact us directly. The builder and us would like to make this right any way we can but if customer keeps taking it to different shops, we cannot talk to these shops and talk to them about if installation procedures were followed, etc
Thanks!
Brent
