Review: [redacted], the [redacted] at BK Fitness failed to cancel my membership as requested in [redacted]. He continued to directly bill my bank account for 12 months after I requested the cancellation. I tried to contact him multiple time. He was unwilling to help me. After contacting him in [redacted], he promised to reimburse me the $350.64 he owed me. I was suppose to have that check by [redacted]. I have not received the check. I no longer want to deal with him because he is very disrespectful on the phone.Desired Settlement: The would like to receive the refund from BK Fitness of $350.64 immediately.

Review: Since joining this gym in [redacted] I have had 3 separate months that I have been double-billed for my membership fee. Each time I have to go in with a copy of my statement, then they submit a refund. However, this time I am being billed twice because they arbitrarily decided to impose a new fee on members even though the contract I agreed to was for a set amount each month for 12 months. There was no stipulation in the contract for additional fees being added on during that 12 month contract. I feel this is a breach of contract and would like a refund of both charges this month and to cancel the remainder of my contract without penalty.Desired Settlement: The ideal solution would be to have both charges from this month refunded and the remainder of my contract cancelled without penalty.

Since joining this health club in [redacted] my credit card account has been billed extra fees outside of the agreement 3 different times. The first two were refunded after I took in my statement to prove the charge. The most recent was an additional monthly fee that was charged to my card without any notification or authorization. When I spoke with one of the owners, [redacted], he said this was a maintenance fee that was charged to all members, but this had never been discussed verbally or in writing, so he basically charged my card without authorization resulting in credit card theft. He then agreed to cancel my membership, and refund the fraudulent charge. But, he said that I would need to send a certified letter to him to cancel my membership. I did exactly as he asked, and since that time which was on [redacted], I have not received a credit for the unauthorized charge and the certified letter was returned to me "Unclaimed". I have cancelled the credit card so that this place can not make anymore fraudulent charges to my account, but I think others should know what kind of place this is before they decide to trust them with any credit card or banking information. I do not trust them with my personal information, which is why I cancelled that card. I have attempted to reach [redacted] via e-mail and phone, but have been unsuccessful in doing so, which leads me to believe he has no intention of correcting this problem.
