B & L Brothers Construction

I hired B&L Brothers Construction to make repairs to my home after a car accident which damaged my property on July 1, 2012. George Ladison, co-owner of B&L Bros. Construction quoted the insurance adjusters with an estimate of $11,375.58 for repairs to be made to my siding and foundation. On July 18, 2012 B&L Bros. were paid a $60 retainer fee. On August 10, 2012 Mr. Ladison and Mr. Timothy Bercume (co-owners)told my wife and I that they found a supplier that cut them such a great deal that he would be able to do the whole house in new vinyl siding, repair the foundation with black cement, haul away debris plus pay for labor and tax for just $2160. They were paid $1800 to buy materials that night such as black cement, vinyl siding, foam board, and j-channels. On August 16, 2012 the construction crew from B&L Bros. Construction consisting of [redacted] and [redacted] removed all the old aluminum siding from my home and scrapped it at ** Metal so they could keep the scrap money as agreed. I paid B&L Bros Construction the final $300 that I owed them and [redacted] wrote me a receipt saying paid in full. When the crew went to ** Lumber in [redacted], NY to pick up the materials that I had already given George Ladison the money for the store clerk said that they had never heard of George Ladison nor B&L Brothers Construction. My wife, [redacted] was told by Mr. [redacted] (foreman) that George Ladison "took the money and ran". He promised that "no matter what I'm not gonna keep your house looking like this. I'm gonna make sure it gets done." Mr. Tim Bercume spoke to me over the phone and told me that he was "very sorry" and that he was "mad at George too" but told me that he would use his own money to make up for what was taken. Mr. Bercume purchased the foam board, vinyl siding, and the j-channels but still has not given me the black cement. It has been 3 weeks and no one will take my calls or finish the job.
