area. At the time of scheduling, Mr. [redacted]'s delivery was interrupted by weather several times. We had the order scheduled for the 8th of January. We monitored the weather up until the 7th and realized that the weather would not allow the delivery to take place. We notified the customer that we would need to cancel delivery until the weather cleared up. We again attempted to schedule for the 15th. We monitored weather up until the delivery date and again, weather interfered. We were hopeful that weather would clear that we would be able to install on the 18th, however, that did not happen. We were forced to reschedule until the 23rd. We contacted the customer and they asked to speak with a member of management. We explained that the contractors cannot work safely in bad weather. We also offered the customer a courtesy discount although the circumstances contributing to the reschedules were beyond our control. The customer refused the discount and stated that they had spoke with the dealer about getting a refund on the down payment. The customer requested that we cancel the order. We removed the customer from the route and cancelled the order per their request. This route did go out for the 23rd of January. The customer's proposed resolution is to get the carport asap, receive a discount and apology. Due to the fact that the customer refused the previous schedule date and cancelled the order, we are unable to process their order at this time. If they would like to re-activate their order, we will need to confirm that the down payment is still in place, has not been refunded and we can re-activate the order. Due to the fact that the orders for this area only support a truck load every 3-4 months, we would be unable to process this any quicker. However, we would place the customer on the very first truck load available. The customer had already been given a discount and we would be glad to honor that. Our goal is to service every customer as quickly as possible. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the customer or dealership.
