My complaint is regards to my 47" LG Flat Screen . My orginal date I bought my tv in for repair due to it shutting off was 8/24/2011 , it took at a few days for them to change out the Micro -board ( which is a reasonable time-line ) they said they ran it for awhile and it never shut off . I was charged $275 , which again was reasonable since it was a industrail TV. Bought the TV home and about three hours later TV started shuting off again . Took my TV back to them and they had it for about three days and I was told it ran for whole time and worked fine. They told me to change out -lets and buy a surge protector . before I went home I bought the most expensive surge proctetor Radio Shack had it stock. Moved tv to the other side of the room , connected tv to surge protector and turned on And Again TV shut off . On September 14 I took my tv back and didnt get back untill January 10 2012. During this time I called about every two weeks, always speaking to the repair mans associate , I was told from the start they were sending back my micro board And that it took some time for the factory to send them a RMA # and something about a shipping label. Then his associate told me that the repair man had a hard time locating the part for my TV ( which if it was replaced the first time , why would he have trouble finding the part) I called and got this story twice and was told every single time the repair will call me back with more info. Then I was told that the repair man was just going to refund my money since he couldnt find the part for the tv and the repair man would call me ................. still no calls . So the last 3 times I called , I was given the same the same message . I told his associate they have had my TV since September and I have never recieved a call from the repair man and he's response was " well all I can do is give him the message. So on January 09th and the last time I phoned before I picked up the TV . . I got the same message very rudely and then was hung up on . On the 10th , myself and my boyfriend drove to BP Electronics expecting a refund and my tv back . Repair man arrived 15 mintutes after we did . Told us he ran the TV everyday and it worked fine never once shut off , he said he went ahead replace the part again just to be sure . ( Which we prevoiusly was told he couldnt find) WE took the tv home , didnt have a chance to run it on the 10th and on the 11th ( yesterday ) turned it on and only after 3 hours shut off once again. I dont believe any other their staements about running my tv none stop with out it shutting off since the longest I have been able to run it is about 4 hours. I would like my re-fund back due to the fact my TV is still not working and the un professionalism of the associate.
