My experience with BP Sealcoating could not have been worse. After overly pursuing them to return my calls and do my small job, I got them to put in a new driveway (maybe?). They did the work when I was out of town. I came home to an uneven, wavy driveway, with patches, divots, uneven edges on all sides and materials slopped all over the sidewalk. I was horrified. Several neighbors stopped to comment how bad it looked. After getting a hold of them at first they told me I didn’t understand how a new driveway looks, but after looking themselves, they agreed to re-lay to top. (some who have seen the driveway have suggested they never took out the old one and just laid asphalt on top of old driveway?). This time I wanted to be home so I took a day off of work. They never showed up or called. After many calls and e-mails, I finally got an e-mail saying their equipment broke and we set another day for the re-do. I took another day off of work and they never showed up or called. I called at least 5 times and e-mailed all day and never heard from them. At the end of the day I wrote them an e-mail saying I’m done and don’t show up at my property – not that they were going to. I subsequently asked for my original survey back and they said they would send it. When it didn’t come, I followed up around 10 times, being told at the beginning that it was sent, then being told they’d follow up to see what happened, but, surprise, they never got back to me. There is really nothing more wrong they could have done. They were horrendous to work with and I’d suggest anyone to look elsewhere.
