Purchased a lemon from a dealer who was not truthful I purchased a jeep from this business during the first week in April 2016 which I paid 8000 cash for, within two weeks of purchase I had to have a wrecker pick the vehicle up from my work because there was antifreeze every where which I had to file on my insurance, it required a hose to be replaced, a week after that there was antifreeze in the pass floor board, so I contacted to dealer and he was not at all interested in helping me and basically told me I should have purchased the newer one he had on the lot but I purchased this vehicle because the dealer went on and one about what a great vehicle it was and I trusted him well now on May 1st it has to go back in the shop because the jeep is running hot, so basically the dealer told me he himself had driven the vehicle and it was a great vehicle and I was making a great purchase now that the dealer has my $8000 cash he is absolutely not interested in helping when I've only Owened it for 1 month, thinking I have purchased a lemon, and plus I purchased it based on what THE DEALER TOLD ME which was clearly not the truthDesired SettlementAll I am asking is for the jeep to be repaired Business Response Issue has been resolved.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)The business did pay for 1/2 of vehicle repairs

I found a vehicle (2002 Ford Sport Trac Truck) at B&R Auto Sales and was told that their mechanic would check the truck and to see if any repairs that would be needed and they would be completed. I waited for over 1 ½ weeks for this to be completed before I ever signed the sales agreement. (Note: requested the back right window be replaced and they refused because it was too much money (Approx $500) and had window tint put over the broken glass knowing that I had small children that would be seated in car seats in the back seat. 2. I signed the agreement “as is” with an expectation that the truck had been serviced and any repairs needed had been completed and was assured that the truck was in good condition. Less than 3 weeks and the truck overheated leaving me and my daughter stranded, I had it towed to the Ford dealership in Cleburne to check it out. The ford dealership said that the engine in the truck is not the original and it not the correct size for the truck. There was no mention of the engine that is in the truck not being the original engine required for the truck or any notification of any type of issues with the current incorrect engine. The Ford dealership confirmed that there were places in the engine capped off because it was not the correct engine for the vehicle. I am not a mechanic and B&R supposedly had their mechanic look at the truck and give the verification that it was in good working order. This to me is fraud and deceptive trade practice as I had a reasonable expectation of receiving the vehicle in good condition as stated by the company B&R and no mention or notice was given and therefore receiving the vehicle in good condition as stated by the company B&R and no mention or notice was given and therefore by omission deceptive. **I have had another vehicle with them previously and paid it off and the down payment was the settlement from insurance for the previous vehicle of $1,100
