B & R Fournier Construction, Inc.

B&R Fournier put a roof on my house a little over a year ago. The job was nothing but a problem from the day they took my money and stepped onto my property. I have been very patient in dealing with all the excuses [redacted] has had to justify why my job was not done properly and with the professionalism I thought I was going too received.

The day of the job, and right after I meet [redacted]'s son, the foreman, I offered to buy donuts for his workers. I was told very arrogantly by his son that his workers don’t take breaks and he wants them to work not eat donuts. All drop cloths used on the job had enormous holes in them. They trampled my plants, left my porch and grounds around the house filthy and left holes in the side of my house --- I wish I had stopped the job immediately and fired them.

His son acted unprofessional several times and he was in charge of the job all while he was texting his girlfriend all day long. In addition he was rude and arrogant. Upon completion of the job, I told him one of my gutters was crooked and he debated with me for at least 15 minutes telling me I was wrong and he was right and I quote, how do I know it wasn’t crooked when I got here. Then he demanded payment and told me he wouldn’t leave without it. The job was not fully completed that day.

My property was left with at least 3 bags of trash on it. --- (In fact I handed [redacted] two bags of trash, the day after and a third bag when he returned shortly after that) and I am still picking up shingles and nails to this day, 11.15.11. I wish I had demanded that he do it.

This summer I had to go up on a ladder to take off the clear plastic wrappers left hanging from my roofs over my door because they were left on to hang in the wind once the adhesive wore off. They were never torn off. Oh, and the ones that were torn off were left to blow in the wind on my grass all over my property.

Another time I called [redacted], I told him I had holes in the side of my house shortly after the job was so called completed. I was told that they must have been overlooked and that when he ([redacted]) returned on vacation he would come and fix it himself. NEVER done! I ignored it and again I should have reported him to the Revdex.com then.

A lot of the finish work around the trim is left sloppy and when [redacted] has fixed it during one of his many visits here, he gives me an attitude like, this isn’t a big problem. It should have been done properly and I should not have to keep finding things unfinished and wrong.

Now for the last straw, shortly before the year anniversary of his company installing my roof, my bulk head roof leaks over one of my doors and again I am still chasing [redacted] Fournier to come and repair what was left undone. I called [redacted] the week of September 5. We spoke on the phone September 12.

Again, I have been waiting ever since --- needless to say he had another excuse and I was told that it wasn’t bad and it was because of the hurricane and a board and it could be easily fixed. Again, he said he would come and fix it and here we are at least 10 weeks later and no one has come to repair it. I called again and again (not completely sure when I called, I would have to go back and check phone records --- it was two times after September 12) and never even get a return phone call.

So, this is the last straw --- I have pretty much had it with B & R Fournier and it dealing with [redacted], the owner.
