B R Roofing Inc Reviews (1)
Review: Roofer estimator showed up to estimate the cost of specifically asked repairs. We discussed with the estimator what needs to be done to the roof. A few shingles needed to be replaced. That's all. He said he will discuss it with his boss. His boss demanded $10,000 to replace the whole roof. Very bad sales practices. They are trying to upsell you in the repairs that are not needed.Desired Settlement: Complete the repairs what we asked for.

On September 2nd, 2014, we were asked to give our assessment of the current roof and send a bid as needed.
When we inspected the roof on September 3rd,there were several shingles lifted from their seal caused by curling and age. A soft spot was found above the bathroom and several shingles had blown off exposing nails and seams. It was indicated that the bathroom vent was never connected to an exhaust vent to the exterior. After discussion, we came to the conclusion that a complete re-roof was the only long term solution.
We called the sellers real estate agent to tell him that they needed to fix the deteriorated decking and replace the whole roof.
He immediately told us "We were on crack, go [redacted] yourselves. The only thing we could say is "that was not very professional" and said goodbye.
I stand by our first assessment. With several previous repairs on the roof and several more needed, we would never leave bad decking on a roof, it is a matter of safety.
We always recommend that customers get more than one bid for work like this. If he did not want to do as we suggested,he could go get another bid from another company.
