To Whom it may concern. In response to the complaint filed by Ms*** *** assigned ID ***, Ms*** did in fact finance a vehicle with Ionadi Auto Sales as stated in the complaint, using a foundation to procure the amount necessary for her down payment. The 1st payment on the
balance of the loan was scheduled days from the original purchase date of the vehicle. No payment was made at that time. Ionadi Auto Sales then reached out via phone to contact Ms*** regarding the past due amount. No calls were returned at that timeShortly after, Ms*** sent Ionadi Auto Sales a certified letter in the mail with a handwritten bank account number on it accompanied by a statement to take the balance of the loan out of that account. Upon receipt of that letter Ionadi Auto Sales again attempted to contact Ms*** via phone to inform her that this was not an accepted method of payment. After multiple attempts to contact her and no response, Ionadi Auto sales then repossessed the vehicle for failure to submit the amount due on the loanOnce the car was removed from her residence, Ms*** contacted Ionadi Auto Sales the following day to ask why we did not take the money out of the account as statedShe was informed that this is not a legal means of payment, and that she would need to bring her account back into good standing with payment via cash, cashier’s check, money order, or Credit/Debit card. Again Ms*** insisted that Ionadi Auto Sales withdraw the money from the account she had listed on the paper. Unfortunately, hand-written statements to withdraw money from an unknown account is not a valid form of payment. A call to several banks to verify, at the request of Ms*** confirmed thisAfter refusal to bring the past due account into good standing, Ionadi Auto Sales then gave Ms*** a day notice to repay the remainder of the loan or forfeit the vehicle.
