As you can see via the order that was signed for and placed with *** *** Ms*** received exactly what was paid for and signed by her Ms*** came into the store and tried to point out to the Retail Sales Manager* *** ***, and *** *** a different piece of carpet that
she had on a sample that was not from our store and was not even the size of the samples that we have in our store My guess would be that she shopped other places and got the sample from the other store Unfortunately for Ms***, she got what she signed for and needs to accept that she made an error in buying the CUSTOM made rug and needs to accept it This was not an error of Carpet One !!

I am rejecting this response because:
I want to thank the Revdex.com for all their help with trying to get this matter taken care of but obviously Carpet One is trying to blame me for getting the wrong color and basically calling me a liar saying I got that sample elsewhere which is totally false.  It’s the only store I went to.  Sandy who works there is Carpet One’s sales representative, she cut my sample large enough for me to test my sweeper on.  Sandy is the one that wrote the carpet color and information on the back of the business card, not me.  When I went back to place the order, Sandy is the one who wrote up the order, not me.  I had the sample with me when she placed my order. Why did she not then look at the sample I had in my hand and question it when I brought it in to place this order?  They are stating I went to another store and gathered a sample.  Again this is a complete lie.  I thought Carpet One was a reputable company and this is why I chose to go there only.  How is any of this my fault as a Carpet One employee wrote down the wrong information?  Carpet One needs to own up that their employee made a mistake and correct the issue as any trustworthy company would.  Either replace my order with the correct color or give me my money back and they can sell this one in their store.

This complaint has been resolved. The customer was told on July 14 that she was getting the refund requested and she actually picked it up on July 20, 2015. This was told to [redacted] (Revdex.com) on July 16, 2015 so this paperwork was not needed.

Refund was given and this complaint is closed.

Once again, the customer signed off on the original order and she can bring the rug in to see that we gave her the correct piece as what she signed for and the rug was made with.  the sample in question did not come from us per Tom Clark and Sandy and the customer needs to own up to that.  We made the rug out of the piece of carpet that was signed for by the customer.
