Over a period of several months we have requested that they provide us with administrator rights to be able to administer our email accounts, and we have requested to be listed as the owner of the domain name for our website. We have left voice messages, sent emails, and mailed a letter to them and have not received a response.
B2 Web Computing created our
website in 2009. Since that time we have
annually paid them for web hosting and domain renewal, and they also billed us
annually for an SSL certificate. Because
we are a non-profit organization, they would do updates and add events to our
calendar for us at no cost, when they could work it into their schedule. In the last years we needed more prompt
attention to our requests so last February 2019, I requested that they give me administrator
access to our website and instruction on how to make updates and add events to
our website on our own. At that same
time I mentioned that we are paying them annually for the domain renewal and I
asked them who owns the domain. Brett
Belau responded to me via email (2-22-2019). He provided me with administrator access to make changes to the website
and he stated “To answer your other
question, the riversidecemeteryappleton.com domain
resides in B2’s domain account, where we manage it on your behalf (making sure
it never expires, and stays safe from any hijacking attempts). In other words,
B2 technically “owns” the domain, but can relinquish it at anytime - we never
hold domain names hostage. Hope that helps - please let me know if you
have any questions. Thanks and have a nice weekend! Brett.” At the end of March 2019 B2 provided me with some remote
training. From the email I attached to the
complaint you’ll see that I requested access to Google Analytics and access to
manage users, I mentioned how there were updates on the administrator console that
B2 was not updating (they had in the past) and B2 had the security keys needed
for the updates, I did not. I made
several email requests after that time asking for the access and finally on
January 21, 2020 they finally gave me the Google Analytics access and then I
followed up with another email request for access to the Google Administrator
Console so we could manage our email user accounts. During this time there were voice messages
left at their number 920-358-0305, including a message from one of our Board of
Directors requesting that they contact him because we need the access to the Google
Administrator Console and ownership of the domain name. There was no response from B2. On February 11, 2020, I mailed a letter to
Brett and Jeanna Belau, owners of B2 Web Computing, to their home address (831
Rundquist Way, Kimberly, WI 54136) again
requesting the Google Administrator Console access (so we can maintain our
email accounts) and ownership of the domain name for our website (which Brett
stated that they do not hold hostage and can relinquish it at any time.) To date we have not received any form of
response from B2 Web Computing.

This is the first time in months that I am able to respond to this complaint. Prior to this, I received a message on the Revdex.com website that this complaint was "On Hold" due to the COVID-19 shutdown order. As this is the first Revdex.com complaint for B2 Web Studios since we began in 2002, I appreciate the chance to respond.
The items listed in the original complaint by Riverside Cemetery have all been provided to ***, and we have not received any further communication from them, though we continue to host the HTTPS://RIVERSIDECEMETERYAPPLETON.COM website for them on our servers. Riverside Cemetery has full and complete access to everything related to their website and email. At no point was B2 Web Studios intentionally preventing access to this information. As was explained to *** on 2/27/2020, the original Google email for Riverside Cemetery was setup for Mary Lehman (past employee) as far back as 2010, so the details for it didn't exist in the current system we use to keep track of client information, and therefore, took some digging.
1. Login credentials and access instructions to the RIVERSIDECEMETERYAPPLETON.COM domain account at GoDaddy were provided on April 14th, 2020. 2. Login credentials and access instructions to the RIVERSIDECEMETERYAPPLETON.COM Google G Suite admin were provided on February 27th, 2020.3. Login credentials and access instructions to the RIVERSIDECEMETERYAPPLETON.COM Google Analytics were provided on January 21st, 2020.4. Riverside Cemetery is not being charged for an SSL certificate for their website, nor will they be charged for an SSL certificate when their annual web hosting invoice generates on July 1st, 2020.
It's worth noting that no calls or voice messages from Riverside Cemetery were never received through our business phone system at (920) 358-0305, which tracks/logs all calls and messages, and notifies us of the same. Additionally, we did not receive the letter referenced in the original complaint. I am wondering if this is because Riverside Cemetery did not have our correct business name in the letter or this Revdex.com complaint. We are not, nor have ever been, known or incorporated as "B2 Web Computing". Our legal d/b/a/ is B2 Web Studios.Lastly, *** received a 2 hour web-based training on March 27, 2019 to learn how to make changes to the Riverside website. Since then, it was communicated with *** on several occasions that in order to have B2 make changes instead, and receive prioritized, ongoing support for the Riverside Cemetery website, a web maintenance plan must be purchased at https://b2webstudios.com/maintenance. Any requests sent to B2 Web Studios by anyone without a paid maintenance plan are answered on a first-come, first-served basis, as we need to prioritize requests from clients with whom we have a plan - and thus, a contractual obligation - in place.Please let me know if any additional information, clarification, or proof is required in order to resolve this complaint.Thank You,***Partner/PresidentB2 Web Studios
