Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not a professional mover, so I don't know what information will be valuable to a mover in order to price things If they had asked "Are there fragile items to be moved?", I would have said there are and would have provided a list I was not asked that question during any of the conversations I had with this organization I don't know what information they need to make an accurate quote Also, they say that I agreed to the change, but I didn't have much choice, my mother had to be out of her condo the day they communicated that I needed to pay more, and, if I hadn't agreed to the price change and they denied service, I wouldn't have been able to arrange for another moving company to come in on the same day I also find this response misleading because when I was told that they needed to adjust the price, fragile items were not mentioned as the cause, only that they didn't quote packing for more than the Kitchen and the 2nd bedroom If the tapes were pulled, as [redacted] told me they would do, they would find that, when [redacted] and I planned the move, she asked me whether they were going to pack just the kitchen and the one bedroom and I said "no, the whole condo." So, if an adjustment needed to be made, it should have been done at that time and not on the day of the move, when there was no opportunity for me to find another mover if I didn't agree to the price The "discounts" mentioned in the response surprisingly add up to the additional $1,over the estimated cost that I paid, so I am not sure how these are "discounts" to me Regards, [redacted]

and you had quite a few items that were not mentioned over the phone while receiving your estimateWhen I spoke with you to confirm all of your move details were accurate, you did not mention a number of fragile items that required quite extensive, and time consuming packing. As soon as we were onsite and knew your estimate was off, we provided you with a revision to estimate which you approved your mother signing offWe understood that you were not happy with the increase and did our best to make things right by significantly discounting your moveWe stored your items overnight for two nights and only charged you for one night ($savings), reduced your labor cost on the second day by not charging you for hours of labor ($savings), and didn't charge you for any of the boxes or supplies that we provided ($savings). We're sorry your move did not go as smoothly as we would have hopedWe did our best to help reduce your final price and wish you all the bestRegards, ***
