The complainant took note of the page that would have helped resolve the issue, but failed to take the steps necessary and as clearly shown on the web page. Here is the page they referenced:[redacted]As stated on the web page:[redacted]...

[redacted]

You repeatedly fail to understand how to refresh a page. Clear your cache. Go to a different computer. This has been resolved since 6/*.

The user made the complaint on Sept [redacted]. As per our website, they claim to have followed the instructions as to how to correct the information supplied to us by our licensing company. They did not read however, how long that information takes to be updated on our site....

[redacted]
1. How Long Does It Take To Correct The
Information? Upon your submission to Neustar Localeze, it will
usually takes about 1 month for the updated information to appear
corrected on our site. When a change is submitted to Neustar Localeze,
the new information does not immediately appear on our site. It needs to
first be verified and corrected. Once Neustar Localeze verifies, they
will re-publish and send us your new information in a 'non-alterable,
read only' format. This new information is typically updated on or before
the [redacted] of each month. Its possible that your submission may have missed
their cut off date, in which case it can take 2 months to appear
corrected on our site.
If this complainant did in fact confirm their information was updated with Localeze, it should appear corrected on our site by the [redacted]. If it is not, they can write us back directly at this email address and we will try to assist further.
The complainant also failed to note that if they have a website that meets our approval criteria, they could have claimed the record and changed the information on our site in about 10 minutes.
[redacted] We see no attempt made by their URL [redacted]
Please note that we are also quite clear when the public calls our corporate office that the corporate office does not handle changes of address or phone numbers. Rather, a recorded message informs them that they need to go through the proper procedure with our licensing company. With 14 million records, if each business moved or changed their phone just once every 20 years, it would require 700,000 yearly modifications. This procedure is the fastest and most accurate way for everyone.
Thank you,

Customer Service Team

There are a number of factors here that are without truth or merit. Namely, there is no possible way she spoke to any representative from our company when she stated she did, or when she followed up as she stated she did. We offer no phone support for the changing of phone numbers or records, and...

the fact that she stated she spoke to someone, let alone a male is a physical impossibility. I am the only one who would have received such a message and there was never such a message or phone record of any kind. We also believe she is likely confusing us with other another yellow pages. Localeze is a provider of phone information to many yellow pages directories. At this time we do not charge for any listings. Our listings are free. The fact that she stated 'someone paid' confirms she is confusing us with another directory. Second, there were never any emails asking us to remove or correct her information. Rather, our records indicate a person with the same email as this complaint did attempt to claim a record on August [redacted] but was unable to verify they were the rightful owner or authorized person of record. Our system requires this. Namely, if she does not have an email with an address that is the same as the website domain name being claimed, the owner or authorized representative must place a verification code or link on the site being claimed so we can verify they are the legal owner or authorized person. She did not. Lastly, as stated on our website with regard to the time frame it takes when correcting or removing phone records from Localeze. ( [redacted] ) We clearly state that upon your submission to [redacted], it may take up to 1 month for the updated information to appear corrected on our site. Why? When a change is submitted to [redacted], the new information does not immediately appear on our site. It needs to first be verified and corrected. Once [redacted] verifies, they will re-publish and send us the new information. This new information is sent once a month and is typically updated within our site on or before the 10th of each month. We are confident that if the information was in fact updated at Localeze as she stated, the same corrected information will appear in our next update that we receive from them.Lastly, it would be helpful if this person let us know what page in our site was the issue so we could monitor. With 14 million records and no verifiable data submitted we are unable to be of greater assistance.Thank you,Robyn J[redacted]

The complainant is at a complete loss to simple fact that we are an online phone directory with over 14 million records. We do not put up fake phone numbers, or fake ads, but rather we are displaying phone and address information. The phone or address information we display on our site is not an...

advertisement. Its a phone listing. We license our phone and address information from Localeze, a major information supplier to many phone directories. [redacted] obtains their information from resources made publicly available by the complainant or a person authorized to do so at one time. If the complainant wishes to modify or remove the information, we offered links and information on how to do so - on the page they say had the wrong information. Namely, we provided a link to [redacted] here: [redacted]This appears to be a simple phone number change, and the information we provided on this link will easily rectify it. The complainant does not have to claim this listing. Furthermore, the complainant failed to state what page had their listing. (As stated, we have over 14 million phone listings). This would have allowed us to help them better. Stating we put up fake ads is defamatory and will not be taken lightly. Rather, we partner with legitimate, sophisticated advertising companies, that supplement our result sets with ads relevant to the products or services being searched. Due to the size of our directory, our office staff does not handle directory assistance or changing of phone records. Therefore, we state you should utilize the links and information provided on our site.We trust the complainant now has a better understanding how to rectify the information shown on our site properly and quickly

1) The record has NOT been removed, it has been changed. Which is fine. That is what I wanted done.

3) The [redacted] results STILL shows the [redacted] address in [redacted]. This is NOT fine. I need this changed to [redacted].
I attached a screen shot example of #3.
4) As I previously stated, I tried this process a few months ago with no results. I am getting some results now that Revdex.com is involved.

This is clearly not the case as our database is a direct feed from Localeze and updated monthly. If it shows on our site, it comes from their records. We have also done a search on the WWW and found several companies with the same info they want removed. (These companies may also license from Localeze). Again, this would not happen if they followed through to see their information was corrected at the source. We suggest they contact Localeze again- replying with any previous correspondence so that Localeze can be more helpful. We also advise that they should make the URL of their record known to any party they do communicate with. This will make sure there is no confusion. It is possible they had more than one record. Therefore, it appears the information is still showing from a record they did not know also needed to be corrected. Thank you.

Why do insist on not reading our numerous responses that state the same thing, or our web site which is equally informative? We stated that if you corrected the information with [redacted] it will appear corrected in our next update from them. As previously stated, this was last week. One again, this record had been removed last week. [redacted]. We verified and this was the record you supplied.

My information has finally been removed. It was not removed on 6/*/16 as the company states. I do know how to clear cache and I did search on other computers and mobile devices.  This companies response has been nothing but rude and unaccommodating.  Customer service is non existent. They never once reached out to me directly to  help resolve the issue that they created for me and my company.  I would never do business with them.

We have no idea who this person is. We have over 14 million records and it simply is impossible for us to know which one of many companies in our system refers to 'pet fencing'. Further, we have no record of anyone calling us 6 times to remove a pet fencing listing. We think that perhaps they are...

confusing us with another yellow pages directory.  Due to the volume of our database, our support system is also completely automated or via email. They would not have talked to anyone in our company about this issue.  Lastly, as we make perfectly clear on our site, our information is licensed from [redacted] - who obtain their information from publicly available resources. The complainant should have read this page (there is a link on every listing) and then contacted [redacted]. [redacted]Once it is removed from their database, it will eventually be removed from our database. Thank you.

I do not understand why they just will not remove the fake Ad  the phone number is bad leads to a discontinued number. Review: This website listing has an incorrect address for my business. I have followed their steps to correct my address. The steps lead to another website/company that has corrected my address in their system. However the original website in question has not made a change. The phone number for B2bbiz.com, Inc. does not have options to make necessary changes or to speak to a rep for assistance. This phone number eventually ends by hanging up on the caller ###-###-####Desired Settlement: I need this web address listing [redacted] be changed to the correct street address

Review: I started an online women's clothing boutique about a year ago.... About a month ago (July 2015) as I was at home alone with my infant child a couple shows up to my door looking for my online boutique thinking its an actual store. They explained to me that [redacted] has not only my home address but my personal phone number as well posted on their website. I was upset when I seen it but, mistakes can be corrected so I called the phone number on their website & talked to a customer service rep that said he cannot remove my personal information and that somebody "paid" them to have it put on there so theres nothing that he could do, he said I should try & call their licensor "[redacted]" to have my information removed. I contacted "[redacted]" talked to a customer service rep who apologized and said he would have my information removed from their system immediately and will forward the info to [redacted] ..... A week passes my PERSONAL information is still on [redacted] I call again "[redacted]" and they said my information was removed from their system, I went on their website and tired to locate my business and it wasn't on there. So I called [redacted] again talked to a man again who apologized and promised to give me a call back as soon as he finds out any information..... 2 days later no call back.... I called again a week later, now they no longer have representatives just a weird answering service that tells you to email them from their website and someone will call you back within 24 hours... I have emailed 3 times still no response smh, everyday I look online and see my personal information displayed for the world to see and its horrifying.Desired Settlement: All I want is my personal information off of this website immediately and for them to NEVER post my business address or anything pertaining to me again.

Review: We are a small home based business and we do not want our street address on the internet. We tried to become a member of their site so we could change our information. We have tried to contact b2bbiz.com several times (almost daily for the past month & a half) using their "contact us" form online and/or by phone. We have found a few different phone numbers which either have a recording that hangs up or just rings and rings. On their website it says that if we change our information with Localeze-the company where b2bbiz.com gets most of their information then our info will be updated within 1 to 4 weeks. Our info was updated with Localeze (which is now Neustar) in May (about the [redacted]). This is definately a safety matter and we would appriciate it being handled as such.Desired Settlement: We would like our physical address removed from their website ASAP

Business

Response:

Dear [redacted],

We are in receipt of the above complaint. It appears the complainant failed to properly listen to, adhere or read our instructions posted online as well our phone system and/or properly communicate to us.

Please note the following :

1. We only have one phone number, not multiple as the complainant stated. It is for our corporate offices. The recording clearly states that we it does not provide directory assistance or change of

content information from that location. Rather it says to use the contact us links provided on every page of our site.

2. The complainant was advised how to properly remove the information through the company that licenses the information (Localeze). On our site, we clearly say that our information is updated once a month.

6. I requested removal of my listing from Localeze and It appears they did remove It, but the information is still showing on your site. How do I get you to delete it?

It will be deleted on our site too. The information at Localeze may have already been updated and will be reflected in the next monthly update that we receive from them.

3. Upon checking their mentioning that they tried to contact us daily for more than one month,we went through all emails and noticed only one time on 6-17 that we received an email with an improper address and was sent back as undeliverable. It was returned to [redacted]. The email requested removal of an address but did not give any information such as the web page in our site. We over 15 million publicly available records from our licensee. We wanted to be of further assistance and tried a reverse search in our database by using the phone number ###-###-#### listed in the complaint. We did not have that number on file. We tried to locate by email and the name this member supposedly used when joining but that is not in our database either.

Further, we tried to Google search their "phone number & [redacted]" and came up with 0 results.

Lastly, we tried to see when or where the member joined our directory (as they also stated) and we do not see that. Either they did not complete the form properly, did not verify the submission by email or were denied because it did not meet our approval criteria. Due to the fact that we do not know which record they were trying to correct and the email and phone number is not in our database, we dont why they could not list with us.

Regardless, as we make known on our site, we cannot correct, edit or remove any of the information you see. While we would like to be of greater assistance, the only way to correct, edit or remove information about your company is to follow the simple instructions and contact Localeze, our licensee.

We have updated our files the first week of June and July. If the complainant still sees information on our site that is incorrect, they did not properly fill out the Localeze change forms. If the complainant corrected the record in question with Localeze, it would have been updated in our monthly database. They should recontact Localeze to ensure their correction went through correctly or determine why it is not.

Customer Service Team

PS. If and when you mark this issue as resolved, we would appreciate if you can please categorize it as a "problem with product or service", not advertising as I noticed you did with a previous issue. We reflect data that is publicly available from our Licensee who compile and distribute such data. This was not an advertising offer or solicitation.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I do not agree with their response. I DID NOT pay Localeze any money. I did contact them in May to have my information removed. We had someone who was getting out of jail in July and we did not want him to know where we live. So I went searching all around on the internet to find our address and information to have it removed. I had never heard of Localeze until I found them and called them asking them to remove our information which they quickly did. I think it is ridiculous that Kim continues to state things that are just not true. Once my address is removed from their website I will consider the case resolved. Until then in my opinion it is not. Of course this man is out of jail now and has had plenty of time to locate our information. I just wish it could've been resolved before this convicted child molester was back out on the streets. I will again ask google to clear the cache and see if the information is gone from B2Byellowpages. I also do not believe that they should be receiving an A grade. Their customer service is horrible.

Thank you,

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

We are in receipt of follow up correspondence and as we previously noted, once Localeze was notified of the need to remove this record, it was. As previously noted, once Localeze removed the record, it would be removed from our site when we received their monthly update. It was. The removal from our site actually took place in the fist week of September - which was the time frame previously corresponded to the complainant. (Why they had written you again on September [redacted], we have no idea.)

Here is the removed record: [redacted]

Thank you,

Review: Our company is being listed under the wrong name and I have made repeated attempts to get this resolved. It is simply impossible to make changes to our Salon information. They do not help by phone there is no email to contact, if I try to claim my business I have to go thru third party. It a maze for a company calling themselves a directory to not allow Edits.. Response:

This issue is now resolved as we finally had the correct information to resolve. As we had always clearly made known on our remove record instruction page, all the member had to do was respond to the email sent when their site was approved and let us know they wanted to claim a duplicate record and redirect that record to their Premium Membership page. If they had taken the time from the beginning to read that simple instruction and advise us of that - instead of writing the Revdex.com, we all would have saved unnecessary time.
