Just because a dealership is certified, does not mean they are certified to work on aftermarket remote startsWe are certified to work on remote starts, car audio, marine audio, video, and much moreour installers are MECP (mobile electronics certified professionals) which is backed by the cea (consumer electronics association) NMEA (national marine electronics association) [redacted] certifiedand much moreHow can a customer expect us to pay for a bill that we don't know truely what was the cause of their problemsWe don't mean to rude about this but really we don't have any proof other than a non qualified dealership saying what they be leave is the truthWe stayed well after closing waiting for this customer to show and they never didWe called them a number of times and never received a call backThey said they were bringing the vehicle here and we waited

Upon the vehicle coming into the shop at A.Mfor the customers appointment, our tech performed a Walk Around to mark any lights not working or visible damage to vehicle to let customer aware of anything he may have overlooked so it can be fixedThe car was brought in at approximately 9: A.M drivers front wheel was then removed to disassemble that sides strut assembly to perform the inch leveling kit, and upon inspection of suspension the ball joint was found to be bad, and leaking greaseGrease was on the brake assembly from the bad ball joint also, further inspection our tech found a broken ball joint bolt and refused to work on vehicle any furtherPerforming a lift already changes the geometry of a suspension system, so to change the geometry on a broken suspension system could have lead to a SERIUOS accident and leaving us liableThe customer was called imediately, and informed of the problem found with the balljoint and informed it was not safe and we couldnt do lift kit untill the issue was fixed with the ball joint, my tech only got a voicemail, left a brief message, the customer called back within a couple hoursThe customer said he only owned the truck for about months and has an extended warranty not to do the job untill the dealership fixed the balljointThe tech informed him with the wait on the returned call other jobs had been pulled in and had to be finished, and he should be able to pick vehicle up at the end of the dayThe customer asked if it was ok to just leave it overnight?he was told it would not be an issueThe vehicle was reassembled by P.Mthe customer could have picked up vehicle anytime their after

there was nothing wrong with my truck when I took into for the lift kitfor them to to tell that the screw was already broken is a straight up lie.should I just go up to small claims instead and file a law suit?
