Respond To The Complaints:According to the customer’s complaint regarding the *** *** that was purchased on October 9, First of all the purchased price of the vehicle was one thousand four hundred dollars ($1400.00) that was paid towards the conclusion of the cost of the vehicle
salesThe remaining of the three hundred fifty nine dollars ($359.00) went towards the taxes, notary, registration and documentary feesFor this reason this customer never paid the full purchase price as stated on his complaints, this customer main goal is to get his complete money that was paid towards all fees that was spent to get this vehicleIn which I feel it's not fair to get his money back because there are severally factors towards this matter. As a sales representative, I’ve driven this vehicle over weeks and I never had any problems in addition in taking it to a long distance trips over forty five minutes driving (45minutes) never had any problems for this reason as this customer came and purchased this vehicle, I informed him about the vehicle and I explained to him clearly as my experienced regarding this car that he came to buy that it never gave me any problems and it drives very well with no problems but before I can sell it to them I asked the customer to test drive the vehicle first for at least fifteen minutes of drive before coming back to the lot to discussed the price of what he was willing to payI was originally asking for one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine dollars ($1799.99) in which this customer said his not willing to pay for what I’m asking for instead he can only pay one thousand four hundred dollars ($1400.00) because he only have total of eighteen hundred dollars ($1800.00) for the total cost include the notary fee, registration and other feesAs we came into conclusion in buying this vehicle, this customer signed the purchase buyer's order form that this car IS SOLD AS IS VEHICLE and if he wanted a third party warranty there will be additionally cost from the thirty party warranty and we can only give him one hundred dollars offThis customer declined the third party warranty and refuses all third party costs that were given to himAfter refusing all options that was given to him during the time of purchasing the vehicle, he called me the next day letting me know that he thinks the car might have a problem so he wants to know what he should doI told him what he will need to do is to either bring the vehicle to my mechanic to check the problem that his observing as for me I never encounter any problem as I have driven this vehicle with no problemsHe refused to bring it down instead he said he will take it to a mechanic close by to diagnosed the problems that he observe so I clearly explained to him I can only try to assists him in trying to check the problem but I can do much except to give you discount labor rates because this customer refused and declined to put warranty on his vehicle at the time of purchased because he was satisfied of what he was buying so for this reason as a salesperson into this matter | did all my best to satisfied this customer he refused to corporate with me instead he want his money back with all his notary fee, registration and all other fees that he accrued into this purchasedIf my company gives money back on this vehicle and ALL SOLD AS IS CAR we will definitely be out of business especially when this customer does not want any negotiate towards this matter except to get his money back and he even did not want our mechanic to check or look over the car of what he said the problems wasAgain this customer did not want any compensation other than his money backAs a sales woman into this matter I than informed this customer I would not able to give his money back other than given discount on his laborThat's when this customer decided that he would want to buy the warranty now if possibleI explained to the customer I will inquired with the warranty company and asked them how long would a customer have to put a warranty into their vehicle after their purchased of their vehicleAnd once I get that information I will informed them and that’s when he said what can he do, I told him he can use his discretion weather or not of what he should tell the warranty companyThat’s when this customer said “since I’ve brought this vehicle it's been over two weeks now and I don't know what to say to the warranty company and I don’t want to fraud them so what should he do” stated to him since I’ve called the warranty company and the warranty company said the warranty should have been put right away during the time of purchased and since it have not been put warranty during the time of purchased it cannot be honoredThen this customer asked what he should do since the warranty will not honored the warranty and IS AS SOLD AS IS vehicle what I can I do as a sales woman into this purchasedI said I will talk to my boss and see what he can do towards this matterThat’s when my boss said he will only do exchange towards another vehicle and he will need to pay a little difference towards another vehicle because all the vehicle in his lots are higher cost in money than what his willing to spend for this reason this customer *** *** *** said his not willing to pay any additionally cost of what he has paid and his not willing to work any deals other than his money backTherefore I as a sales women and the owner decided we cannot help him out neither giving his money back and it IS AS SOLD AS IS VEHICLE and we have done all our best to work this matter out but this customer did not want any negotiationOn behalf on my company and my sales woman, we have do all we can to satisfied this matter IN THIS BEST OF OUR ABILITY other than giving his money back for this reason we have no other choice but to say this car is SOLD AS IS.Ibrahima [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]
 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
I believe the business knew there was a problem with the transmission prior to selling the vehicle to me and did not disclose that information.  I believe the business had a responsibility to share that info whether the vehicle was bought AS IS, bought with their company warranty or bought with an extended warranty from an outside company.
In the estimation of 2 professionally trained car mechanics, both feel the vehicle had the problem prior to my purchase.  In their opinion, the problem went undetected in the 5 minute test drive because the transmission was not warmed up.  The problem became apparent after 20 minutes of driving the vehicle after the transmission was warmed up.  In both Mechanic's opinion, the transmission has an internal problem which will require a transmission rebuild or replacement.  The cost to do that could run thousands of dollars.
The 1st option the company offered was to purchase an extended warranty.  I didn't feel this was an option because we already knew the car had a problem.  We would be defrauding the warranty company by purchasing the warranty and turning in the transmission problem.
The business offered to exchange the vehicle with another vehicle on the lot.  We were not able to work out any deal for a car they currently had on the lot.  The options we discussed either didn't satisfy the business or myself.  At that time, I was told by the business there is nothing they could do for me.
I will contact the business again to discuss any of the following resolutions::
1)  get my money back ($1400 purchase price + $359 dollars in taxes/tags/fees for a total of $1759)
2) have the business replace the transmission at their cost
3) exchange the vehicle for another vehicle on their lot.
Thank you for your help and time.
