Review: Bacara resort has charged my credit card 6 times for the one stay I had there back in November of 2013. I have contacted them to correct this issue 2 months ago and have yet to correct the issue with this resort. They have charged me 3 different amounts, only 1 matching the actual final bill that they printed out for me at checkout and that I kept a copy of for my records (thank goodness). Their only reasoning is that the hotel booking service we used they are having trouble collecting funds from. News flash for a 4-star hotel...that isn't a customers problem and shouldn't be the customers responsibility that their electronic systems are not always matching. Come to think of it, they did have trouble finding our initial reservation when we checked in so clearly they need to remedy that situation with the hotel booking company or withdraw from allowing that company to reserve rooms at their resort. That doesn't explain why they keep charging my credit card without my approval, nor does it explain why they have charged me 3 different amounts. Now, I'm personally out the money that I paid the hotel booking service in full for the room rate plus all the multiple unapproved charges that the Bacara Resort is charging me. I will never stay at Bacara Resort again and I would never recommend that hotel to any friends either due to this billing issue that won't go away!Desired Settlement: I would like to only pay the incidental charges that I approved and signed for on the final bill. I do not want to pay the repeating hotel room rate charges that I already paid the hotel booking service for. I also want my credit card number deleted from their records permanently as I never want to see a credit card charge from that hotel again!
