additional funds were paid for increase in tax and cash outlay. It is true services were not held at a church, however presider who provided ceremony still had to be paid for services at the funeral home and cemetery. In reference to the headstone, [redacted] did come in to sign VA paperwork and provide us with discharge papers for us to fule for any benefits at which time she also signed an application for reimbursement of headstone. An order for a personal headstone was also produced on January 4, 2016 and signed for at that time. It was [redacted]'s wish for us to e-mail the print out to [redacted] for approval which was done back in June 2016, however it was never returned to us as approved. Monument orders are not proceeded with until print out has been approved. After receiving a call from [redacted] on the weekend of October 8, 2016, the print out of the monument was once again e-mailed to her and was returned to us signed and approved. The order was then forwarded to the granite company and was completed in a timely manner. On October 24, 2016, the monument was set at the grave in the [redacted]. I sincerely apologize for asking for payment for monument as when payment was made back in May 2016, the office staff that took payment did not post in to the folder.
