This response addresses the latest concerns We keep an electronic record of phone calls that come to our office; the customer states that no one would return his phone calls We only received one call, which the original call slip is attached with the information relating to the reason for the call Our electricians are not afraid to return calls, I believe that this is non pertinent to this complaint, and the statement is unjustified. On review of the call slip that was received, this should close this case The customer requested a quotation, and to the complaint that we "never showed up" please read the details The customer relayed the information that he was living in Vermont at the time of the call, and that the quotation could be mailed to that address This is what was done. Also, the house inspection prior to the sale revealed that a main cable was frayed During the year time span when no work was done, this main cable could have been damaged without the customer knowing it The customer purchased the home in Was there no inspection done at that time that would have revealed the same thing had the problem been evident for that length of time? With this additional information, this should clarify any misunderstanding, and close this complaint

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There are a few assumptions to be cleared upFirst, in a year span of time, we had no work doneIn December 2015, in the process of selling our home, we had it inspected, and the inspector easily caught this issueSo tell me, do you make a habit of doing electrical work, specifically replacing electrical panels, without checking to see if they are groundedAnd when I say checking, all this would require was a visual with the panel off and to actually have your eyes openWe would have happily paid to ground it had you mentioned itSo, we weren't even warned, then spent the next years with an unsafe situation, not even aware of this as I am not an electricianI had too additional quotes from electricians after the inspection, BOTH stated this was an obvious and blatant oversightFurthermore, national grid inspected from the outside only, not the inside where it was obvious it was not groundedLastly, I did call you for a "quotation" and spoke with him on the phone, but he never showed upI wonder if he was afraid of having to quote a job for his own mistake? The gfi outlets were just a few other things the inspector found that had nothing to do with you, so they are irrelevant. Your employees are not perfect, they make mistakesI would have even been satisfied with an apology, but no one at your office returned my phone calls to discuss this matter, which is why I contacted the Revdex.comYour electrician would not return my phone calls and I wonder whyI gave a few months to allow benefit of the doubtNot going to make any assumptionsI have 100s of personal and professional relationships in the thousand islands regionLets see if we can resolve this in a fair manner so you can maintain your reputation as is.Regards,*** ***

I am copying text message content below the concerns voiced by the electrician I hired to fix the issues left undone by Bach electricianThe attached photos I sent in the last response will reflect this. So you had no ground and they doubled up circuits in some of the breakersBreakers are only meant to have one wire fastened not Also they spliced the main entrance cable inside the electric panelThey are the proper connecters but that is poor practice to do thatSorry for the delay I have been very busy. All the red tape at the top are bug tapsThat's your main wire that's splicedThey had the wrong size wire in the last few pics so they doubled up smaller wires and wire nutted them the black wire hanging is a ground wireNot an adequate ground but better than nothing That is the worst install I have ever seenWhoever did it should be firedI can't believe that they walked away with it ungrounded and also spliced the entrance cableSorry I just get frustrated when contractors do substandard work This feedback from an electrician WITH photos to back them is to clarify the substandard work doneNow I am aware that Darci has stated that they were not hired to connect the ground BUT again I ask Are you saying you make a practice of not advising you customers of unsafe situations? That would be like doing open heart surgery, noticing cancer and not saying anythingMy wife child and dogs lived for years in a home that could have burned downOn top of that substandard and unethical practicesLastly, you deny my claim and call me a liarThere's your clarification

In response to the complaint received, assigned ID ***, the following information is provided. In 2010, we provided a quotation to *** * *** ***. The quotation for work included replacement of the Amp main panel with a Cutler Hammer Amp circuit panel. We provided the
work as stated above, and only the work as stated above. Our request for work did not include a new service entrance, we tied to the existing service entrance. The grounding issue had nothing to do with us.Between and 2016, the electrical could have been worked on by someone else, it is almost a year span of time between when we replaced the panel box and when the customer complained. We would not have known if any other work was done, as we were not there for any other electrical work during that time. Now, in addition to the above we received additional request for work much later. In December of 2015, we received a request for a quotation from the same customer. This request included replacement of the service and grounding system. Please note that the description of work quoted to the customer in is listed as:"The following is our quotation to replace the electrical entrance at your *** *** *** ** *** *** *** homeIt includes the installation of a new grounding system for the main panel and four GFCI outlets in the kitchenThis quote also includes an independent electrical inspection for National Grid."The customer did not accept this quotation, and did not have us perform this work. There was not a negligent oversight, and we are not at fault for the former homeowner's electrical service lack of grounding.I hope that this assists you in closing this matter.Darice B***Bach & Co Bach Environmental, Inc.Bach Retail Sales & Service, Inc
