"F" Purchased product several weeks ago No immediate download available as advertised so I do not actually have the product No response to numerous phone calls and emails I have used the product in the past and was happy with it They used to be great to work with! A simple response is all I ask!

The software (product) was delivered quickly (via download) I was sent a code to make the software work correctly, but after a little over days it ceased to work, and no one answers the phone (except an automated system) No one returns my voice messages asking for help No one replies to my emails, It sure looks like I have wasted my $for this software

I have used their software successfully for many, many yearsHowever, when my hard drive failed and I replaced it - I loaded the WebStudio software but could not activate it to use itAll of their software requires internet activation but the company website appears to be non-existentAll contact information posted at various times on the internet is inaccurate and unresponsive I have a business website that requires updating and I'm truly stuck not being able to accomplish itIf the company went out of business the least they could do is to provide a form activation for those of us who purchased their software, spent many years supporting the company with updates, and directed an inordinate amount of time creating intricate websites that have grown and expanding through the yearsIt appears that now I have to start from scratch all over againI think this is truly outrageous as there has to be a simple way for those of who paid for the software to be able to use it

I have used their software successfully for many, many years. However, when my hard drive failed and I replaced it - I loaded the WebStudio software but could not activate it to use it. All of their software requires internet activation but the company website appears to be non-existent. All contact information posted at various times on the internet is inaccurate and unresponsive. I have a business website that requires updating and I'm truly stuck not being able to accomplish it. If the company went out of business the least they could do is to provide a form activation for those of us who purchased their software, spent many years supporting the company with updates, and directed an inordinate amount of time creating intricate websites that have grown and expanding through the years. Review: The purchase functionality on the Back to the Beach site for the Web Studio 5.0 product has been inoperative for approximately 2 weeks. An initial Email from Back to the Beach indicated this was a web server problem, and follow-up Email on 12/17/14 indicated that the server problem would be fixed in one day. However, as of today, one can not purchase the software.

A contributing factor is that Back to the Beach, to their credit, provides for a 30 day free trial. I used that feature, and have used the software extensively, on the trust that at the end of the trial I could purchase the software. However, my trial period will expire soon, and I will no longer be able to access the files created in the trial period.Desired Settlement: Very simply, I would like them to in some manner accept payment for Web Studio 5.0 and convert my 30 day trial to a permanent license for the software. My credit card is in hand, ready to pay.

Review: I purchased [redacted] from this company in 2012 to build a website. My website is developed, but I need to continue to run [redacted] to update and manage this website. My old notebook computer's hard drive failed, and I recently purchased a new notebook computer. When I went back to the Webstudio.com website to re-install the software, I logged into the website successfully, but my purchase history had been removed and there is no record of my previous software purchase that I absolutely paid $159.99 for! I do have my original receipt and receipt number, registration number, etc. There should be no expiration of this software license and I have only downloaded this software once previously. The company should still support this software purchase! I have sent 4 emails previously for support and have called numerous times. My emails have not been replied to by this company, nor have my several voice messages been returned! I need to re-install this software to manage my website! Why is this company no longer responding to technical support requests from its paying customers who purchased this software? Please let me know separately if additional information related to my previous purchase, e.g. receipt number, registration number, etc. is needed in the complaint process.Desired Settlement: I would prefer to have the [redacted] software replaced, with Back to the Beach Software providing me with the appropriate registration (if the original registration key can't be used), the activation key and the confirmation key so that I am again able to download, install and run [redacted] that I had paid for, on my new notebook computer.

Review: Back to the Beach Software has on their web site that if you buy their product, you get free Tech-Support. Have needed to talk with them for over a month, as my computer crashed, I had to get a new one, and all I need is to be able to download my software package from them again. I have been trying to contact them and the answering phone tree always ends up with nobody is here available to talk to you, leave a message.

I have, they have never called back.

I paid for support. I should at least have been able to contact them after 50+ tries.

Their numbers are (888) [redacted], and (619) [redacted]Desired Settlement: To be able to have access to my software again.

Review: In early November, I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 . As part of the upgrade I had to reinstall Web Studio 5.0, a program that I use to develop and run Web Sites for my businesses. “Back to the Beach Software, LLC is the manufacturer. When I loaded it, it said I had Thirty days of free trial, and that I had to register it in those thirty days. Prior to the upgrade I had the program and used it for a couple of years, with no problem. I tried to register it. I used the registration number that I received when I first purchased it. I got an error message that said the number was corrupt. I tried several times and continued to get the same message. I then called the Tech Support phone number on their web site and received the message: “we will return your call in the order in which it was received” I left my name and phone number. No call back! Called every day for at least two weeks and never received a call back. So, I started emailing them. After a week or so, I finally got a reply That said “ so sorry, you must have been lost in all the “1’s” and “0”’s. They gave me a different registration number, which I tried and that was corrupt, also. They also told me that they don’t do phone support anymore, but still have the message on their phone when you call! They gave me a few more numbers to try, but all were corrupt. All this time I was asking for a simple phone call which would have probably resolved this issue in about 5 minutes. I have even tried to repurchase the program and I get an error message, so I can’t even buy it again. They have stopped replying to my emails, except for one nasty one in which they said that I received an email that they had had a serious server crash and were trying to repair it. I never got that email. I don’t want a refund because I have too much time and effort invested in the web sites I have built. I can’t go back and start all over again. I would like a phone call to resolve this. Is that too much to ask?Desired Settlement: A phone call to allow me to get my product registered so it can be used.

Review: Back to Beach Software apparently has no clue about customer service or loyalty to customers. Especially being as they are in a competitive market and their product was chosen from among numerous others.

From all outward appearances their product is a good one. On the other hand this product which is for designing web sites and which relates to income and livelihood is not backed by any manner of customer care.

I have left numerous messages and e-mails for them over a four day period. I explained that I couldn't get started with their product, Web Studio 5.0 because I ran into a glitch or a problem from the outset. I'm sure this

issue would require relatively few minutes of their time. But, even if it required a more extensive period of time, some concern and support would be in order.

One of the reasons I bought this particular software because I was led to feel assured they would back me (and all their customers) if and when needed. I went through all the tutorials, their entire manual and ran into this

which in my opinion requires someone to talk and walk me through it so I could begin my web site project.

Their ignoring almost the entire week is as rude as it is crude. Their voice mail message says they will return calls in the order received. It makes no sense that they would have such a backlog of calls awaiting return that mine would not have come up

up by now. Or, that they could have taken a few seconds to e-mail or call me and tell me they are aware of my having a problem and will be contacting me very soon.

Surely they are aware of how competitive their field is and they would be concerned about receiving bad pr and press across the Internet of which this is just the beginning, unless . . .Desired Settlement: Provide service as I was led to believe they do provide and do so in a timely and considerate manner.

Response:

We were not able to respond to [redacted]'s tech support issue in a timely manner for several reasons: 1.) we moved our business the last week of July 2013 2.) the office was not open for a week the first week of August due to a relative who committed suicide, retauranteer [redacted], of [redacted]. Our support suffered because of the extra time these first two issues took. In addition, perhaps related to the move we were unknowingly not receiving emails into our automated system- [email protected].
