We have fulfilled our obligation to replace the defective product and the customer received this replacement on 6/23/17.
Customer contacted us because they purchased one of our products (a Mushroom Farm) at Home Depot and it did not grow. We sell a live product and sometimes this happens and we have a 100% guarantee to ensure the customer is taken care of. As promised, we provided [redacted] with a coupon code to receive a...
free replacement Mushroom Farm on our website.
Unfortunately, [redacted] was part of a group of orders that were mixed up in our warehouse in early June and their order was sent to the wrong address. Instead of receiving the Mushroom Farm, [redacted] received a seed packet that was intended for another customer. One June 11, [redacted] reached out to us and I apologized for this error as it's highly unusual for our warehouse to have a mix-up of this sort and we felt bad for all affected customers. On that same day, 6/11, I asked [redacted] for his mailing information so I could send the Mushroom Farm directly (rather than giving another coupon code). The customer followed up on June 17 with their mailing address. On June 17, I put in for the replacement Mushroom Farm to be re-shipped. This correspondence is attached.
While we regret the original farm did not grow and their was a shipping issue with the replacement, we have responded to every inquiry from [redacted] within the same day as received and have never denied or withhold a replacement Mushroom Farm. [redacted] currently has a Mushroom Farm replacement order in that will be shipped on Monday, 6/19 when our warehouse is back in order.
