Review: On December **, 2013 I found a Grooupon deal - $149 for a Russian dinner for four (up to a $312.20 total value) where no additional rules were applied. Prior to purchase this voucher I called this restaurant to find out about additional charges and rules applied to this deal. Per conversation with restaurant employe, additional changes may be places based on the final price of purchase. I made a reservation and very next day arrived to the restaurant. Waiter was inattentive and unappreciative. We ordered salads and appetizers based on opitions given related to this deal. First, portions were way cut off ( if offer says "Two cold tasting appetizers: choose two among Spy's Gaffe, Banquet's Sequel, Special Order No. 5, and Homemade Smoked Lard (up to a $15.75 total value)", we recieved three pieces of this item, which isnt an portion at all. The salads were very small portions as well and all tasted not too fresh. Entries came half cold with "yesterday taste" mash potatoes. And all this is nothing when it comes to bill which recieved at the end of the dinner. I was taxed on $312 based meal and gratuity was calculeted based on $312 meal price!!! I tried to explain to owner of the restaurant that this charge is not legit because doesnt respond to rules aplied to this deal. After few minutes of arguing, I end up paying whole bill amount of $77. In addition, I didnt recieve any bill copy or printed explanation of this purchase. This business growing based on ripp off of people who is looking for good service.Desired Settlement: I would like to recieve correctly calculated charge plus, inflicted graduity was too high based on waitrers demeanor.

Every deal on Groupon has a fine print which indicate taxes & tips are not included! You can argue about food or service..but that's every restaurant has a option to do. There was no notice about taxation or gratuity charges on the groupon. In order for the business to prove validity of its statement, I'm requesting a legit proof of this statement
