La Sportiva is a European company their shoes are made in Europe to European sizes La Sportiva relabels boxes and tags for the US marketIf the Shoe has a tag on the tongue stating it is a (Eur) then it is a (Eur) Forget all the confusion about US sizing
If we sent
you two sets of shoes that are then we sent you the correct product If you don't like the shoes then return them, and we will refund the full amount you paid for the shoes But the return shipping cost is on you
If we sent you the wrong product then we will gladly refund the full amount and we will cover the return shipping cost
So look at the tag on the shoes tongue, if it is not a let me know and I will have a shipping label emailed to you
The rest of your complaint is quite amusing, I think I shall frame it

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
The store sent shoes in a wrong size. They were not what I ordered. The store is responsible for paying for the return shipping and needs to send me a pre-paid shipping label to return them.
The store sent US8.5/EUR41.5 instead of US8.5+/Eur41.5. The shoes received are smaller than what I ordered. They do not fit the same as 8.5+. I have two more pairs of shoes in the correct size US8.5+ to compare. LA Sportiva may be a European company, but they widely sell and advertise sizing specifically for USA customers in nearly every major store in the USA. 41.5 EUR corresponds to 8.5+ US sizing according to LA Sportiva website sizing chart for these particular shoes.

The store sent me a non-standard size of US8.5/41.5EUR that does not even exist according to LA Sportiva website sizing charts. The shoes are either counterfeit, or Factory B-Stock. This sizing is not advertised by LA Sportiva. This is not what I paid for and not what I ordered.
The received shoes were previously returned by another customer. They had detached labels. I made a video of opening the package and have a proof. The store sold used, previously returned shoes as new. This is illegal in the USA.
The store is capitalizing on an established and famous "Backcountry" registered trademark owned Backcountry.com, Inc. by misleading internet users into buying from their website with confusingly similar internet domain name BackcountryGear.com. Had I known that BackcountryGear.com was a site owned and operated by a different company than Backcountry.com, I would have never entered into this transaction in order to avoid the problem I have now.
The tone of the store's owner response to my complaint is arrogant. The owner states that my complaint is amusing to him. It is certainly not amusing to me, the customer who was deceived and sold a wrong product.
The store sent shoes in a wrong size. The manner the store owner deals with this complaint is absolutely awful.

Sincerely,[redacted]
