My current duplex is in a pretty good neighborhood and is a nice place to reside. I've had minor issues(I.e. garage door) and the issues were handled within a certain timeframe.
I had made maintenance aware that the tiles in my duplex were beginning to crack. I was assured that this was a natural occurrence in central Texas, so when tiles started break in the kitchen area I alerted the main office in December. Maintenance came a week later to observe.... then later the actual company charged with fixing the broken tiles in the kitchen that had been excavated from the affected area leaving exposed concrete . I voiced my concerns about this being a hazard. Last week I was emailed and told that the tile company would come to replace the tiles in the kitchen on Thursday and Friday. To accommodate for no access to the kitchen area, management (Sue) gave a small stipend. We also agreed that this project would take place after I left for work and finished before I came home.
After coming home from work (I work with Special needs children), I found The plastic used to section off the kitchen prevented access to my bedroom. I called the office, but my reception was bad so I hung up while only speaking a few sentences. Maintenance returned to remove the plastic 30 minutes later. The next day the work was complete, but my items were not returned to there original place. I again called the office and asked if I was supposed to put back those items myself ( one of which is a t.v. and stand). Sue then told me that she would send maintenance to move the t.v. and nothing else. She stated that I would have to replace those items that had been removed by maintenance. She stated she had been more than accommodating and that she had spoken spoken to other managers who said that they wouldn't have "done" as much. Sue also stated that the broken tiles were not get fault. I currently have back issues and try to reframe from bending and reaching. I would gladly repay the 25 dollar stipend to have my space back the way I left it. Sue is unprofessional and showed a lack of customer relations etiquette. My dialogue with her has been limited up until this point and I don't understand her curt manner, lack of professional dialogue, and bad attitude towards me. These professional shortcomings should be noted and improved upon.
