I had the pleasure of working with Michael [redacted] and his team at Backyard Escapes in June of 2016 when they designed and installed a hardscape in my front yard. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but when I explained my preferences to Michael, he really listened and "heard" me. He made some recommendations and had helpful pictures to show me exactly what his vision would look like. I fell in love with one of the pictures that truly reflected my "rustic" style. We settled on a retaining wall with boulders and a flagstaff walkway leading to the front door, complete with lighting and landscaping.

In addition to helping me create the right design, Michael was a pleasure to work with through all stages of the project. He was flexible and worked with me to make the price fit my budget. He was also accommodating in meeting my timeline as I needed to get the project done prior to leaving on vacation, which was within a couple of weeks of our initial consultation. The crew was professional, arrived promptly each day, and worked diligently to complete the project on time, with minimal disruption and tidy clean up as they went.

What I most appreciated about my experience with Backyard Escapes was how Michael communicated with me daily to keep me informed, address issues, and make sure I was pleased. He went out of his way to make things as easy as possible for me and work around my busy schedule.

Backyard Escapes is a full service landscaping and design firm, and definitely a "cut above" any of the contractors I have experienced to date. I highly recommend them and plan to use them for additional landscaping in the future.
