Badger Concrete Lifting

Review: Last Thursday, 7/10, Badger Concrete mudjacked a few slabs in my driveway and part of my sidewalk. When I initially met with [redacted], he told me they don't repair cracks, but felt confident they could mudjack the two slabs in question and part of the sidewalk. He told me I could get materials at Menards or wherever to repair the cracks. I told him I was looking to have this done in an effort to save on replacing the driveway for a few more years as I had other home projects to complete. So, I was not prepared for the crack to turn into an actual hole, down to the rebar and chunks of concrete stuck up in the air. No note or phone call about the damage...just the bill in my doorway. After several phone call attempts since last Thursday, I finally talked to [redacted] today who told me he tried to talk me out of mudjacking as this might happen to the crack in my driveway! That is a complete lie and he knows it. In addition to the lie, his lack of concern, care or empathy is terrible customer service. To make matters worse he couldn't recommend any company to fix the damage, but said he would "call it a day" and not charge me for the mudjacking. And the best part is he hung up on me twice since he could not understand why I was upset. He still never answered why they chiseled out a section of my driveway.Desired Settlement: What I would love is for them to fix my driveway, but was told they can't do that. So, I would like in writing I am not responsible for the bill due to unrepairable damaged caused by Badger Concrete that they are unable to fix. And lastly, I want this complaint posted publicly to serve as a warning to consumers who are thinking of using this company. Horrible experience and worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Ms [redacted] called on May 22nd to request an estimate on raising her drive. I was in the process of leaving Ms [redacted]'s house early onMay 23 when she came outside to ask why I wasn't leaving an estimate. I explained that her drive was too cracked to mudjack correctly, that the cracks would flex open when lifted, and it would be much more cost effective to replace it. She was insistent that she wasn't concerned with the cracks and would appreciate if we would mudjack it as best we could to get her a few more years out of the drive, as she had many other home projects she was working on at the same time. It seems odd she doesn't remember me telling her about the cracks when it is written on the proposal : I wrote an estimate proposing to "Raise 2 sections of drive to match garage floor and 1st joint and support cracks" which she accepted.

Review: We've had some concrete slabs (6) raised last summer. This yeaar 2 of them sunk back down. I've tried calling & left messages on their answering machine on 9-19, 9-23, 10-2-13 plus 2 other times before that but didn't keep track of it. I've gotten no response as of yet. They did give me a 3 year guarantee. I paid $425 for work done on 8-20-12.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the two slabs raised again to be level with the driveway. Maybe they can't do it anymore this year because of the cold weather, but contact me to have it done next spring.
