Review: I told Badger Elecric when I set up an appointment that I was available on a Monday evening from only 5-6:30pm. I was told that this was fine and even when I called to confirm I was told that this was not an issue. At 5:30pm no one had shown up. I attempted to call the office but no one was there and there was just an "emergency line" to call. It was not an emergency so I continued to wait. At 5:45 pm I saw the Badger Electric van pull past my condo and appeared to pull into the parking lot next to my condo. No one came to the door and again I had no way to get a hold of the electrician to tell him that he was at my place. I then recieved a call from [redacted] (who tuns out to be the owner and the rudest person I have ever talked to). He asked me where exactly my condo was located as his "guy" couldn't find it. I explained that he was just here and where my condo was located. Again no one showed up for 15 more minutes. At this time it was 6:08pm. I called [redacted] back and asked it if it was even possible for someone to complete the job in 20 minutes. He then became very hostile with me and stated "you have to leave in 20 minutes". I explained that the office employee had made that note and then he became even more difficult stating "we're doing the best we can. My guy has been trying to get to you for 2 hours and it is snowing and slippery outside". (It does not take 2 hours to get anywhere in Madison, even if coming from the outlying areas). I mentioned that I had to drive back downtown and if it was snowing and slippery I would also need more time. [redacted] then stated "I don't have to take this abuse. You can take your business elsewhere". He then hung up on me. When I tried to call back he hung up on me again. I called and left a message on their office phone (still not knowing that [redacted] was the owner) and never heard back. No appology. Nothing. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
