I am rejecting this response because;The original invoice with no break down of labor and materials was totaled at;$884.60 The 2nd Invoice I requested, had a break out of Labor and Materials, It showed 6 hours or labor to be $620.00 or $103.33 per hour. I have asked not be charged for the 2 hours that he was not at my house. that would be a total of -$206.66 I have since found out I should not be charged for the time he used to get supplies... that these should have been purchased beforehand. This does not address that Brian " told me he had to removed the wire due to 'State Law"...That is a complete lie. Having someone take away a customers wire to dispose of it is entirely different than being told that it is required for inspection due to State law. I knew he took it. I helped him, but I was misled. Having customers sign away their rights to keep the wire and dispose of it as they see fit is different than "tricking" them with lies to take what is lawfully theirs and what they may very well want for themselves.

Dear Ms. [redacted]; Thank you for your patience with the issue of the invoice.  I have been out of town for a family emergency. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused you.  I take great pride in Badger Electric and am glad you brought a couple of issues to my attention.   You have...

accused the electrician of stealing wire. An accusation of this matter is very serious.  I spoke to the electrician.  He said that he did ask you if you wanted him to dispose of the wire and you said yes.  He misunderstood you, as he said you were standing with him when he loaded the wire into his truck.  He truly believed that he had your full permission as you were present. Sometimes a customer wants an electrician to dispose of wire; in this case you said permission was not given and the wire was recycled anyway.  After realizing that, after he left, you were unhappy with his removal, the electrician brought back wire.   That wire did not meet your satisfaction, so he bought you 35 feet of copper wire, the exact kind that was recycled but five feet more in length than the amount of the original wire, in recompense, on his own time.  He said this was satisfactory to you.  This type of incident will not happen again.  Our electricians have to be completely honest and above board and I'm sorry you didn't feel as this was the case. Because of your complaint, we have a new policy of having a customer sign permission to dispose of wire.   In regard to the electrician smoking in your driveway, this is completely outside of company policy.  I apologize for this.  The employee has been reprimanded and this is also an incident that will not be repeated.   As for the invoice; the bill for four hours is $443.  The original invoice was for six hours.  The additional two hours was time spent dealing with materials.  Please accept the discount of the two hours for a total discount of $187.  The list of materials that I sent you, as you noted in a previous email, was in fact my wholesale price.  The mark up of $76.03 covers the one year parts and labor warranty on materials.  Wholesale companies do not provide warranty on their parts, but we must.  The total for materials is $264.60.  $443 for four hours of the electrician's time at your house alone, plus the material's cost of $264.60 makes the total bill $707.60.   Please again accept my apology for the lack of clear communication.  I have corrected your invoice in our files.  Thank you, Todd G[redacted] Owner, Badger Electric
