Hello, ***I have sent a copy of the bank statement showing the double charges along with a copy of the E-mail confirmations that were sent to me from Badgerland Car Wash Equipment If you need anything else regarding this matter please let me know. Thanks again for your time in this
matter.*** ***

I’ve spoken to my team.  A lot of the trouble happened because this was a debit account, not a credit account, which we did not know.  As such, the way banks suspend and run transactions on debit vs. credit (and we are not set up to run debit) are different and ultimately caused some trouble which I am informed was resolved.  At the end of the day, I am told that this purchaser WAS NOT double billed and was not invoiced improperly.  If he disagrees with me, I’m happy to look at his information and make every effort to resolve.  In addition, when this transaction took place, my team got on the phone with his bank that very day to attempt to explain to the bank what the confusion was in order to assist with the elimination of overdraft fees.    Multiple employees have stated that to me.  It leads me to conclude that my employees in fact DID make efforts, despite the claim to the contrary, to assist Mr. [redacted] resolve the issue with the bank. If Mr. [redacted] still believes that he was improperly charged and would like to show me net bank statements to demonstrate his case, I am more than happy to meet with him to resolve.I am completely confident that my employees and my company were IN NO WAY involved with fraud and I believe that this is a scurrilous claim being made by a frustrated individual.   I would appreciate your efforts to continue with your investigation on this matter in order that you might confirm what I have determined.Lastly, I have been informed that Mr. [redacted] is not an end user of my products and thus shouldn’t have been purchasing from my company anyhow. We thus mutually agree that there should not be an ongoing future relationship with Mr. [redacted] and Badger Land. Can you please inform me as to what you would like as a next step?Regards,[redacted]

Review: On Monday, February 22, 2016, I made two separate purchases from Badgerland Car Wash Equipment. The first purchase was at 11:25 AM for $184.40 The second purchase was at 12:46 PM for 56.99. Since I was picking up the parts in person, I authorized the two charges to my debit card. They send an E-Mail verification of my purchases to my E-Mail account. On Tuesday, February 23, 2016 when I checked my E-Mail I found two additional charges to my debit card account. One made at 12:30 PM for $186.39 and a second made at 4:13 PM for $58.05. These additional charges were made without my knowledge or consent. This caused my debit account to go negative $232.52 plus my bank added four overdraft charges totaling $148.00. Since I was unaware of the second charges I was unable to prevent the overdraft charges. This totaled $389.79 that I had to cover along with the original $245.00 that I had transferred into the account to cover the purchases that I authorized.

Badgerland Car Wash Equipment was very uncooperative when I tried to resolve this issue. When asked if it was a standard practice to charge people's accounts without their consent they had no response. When I asked to see the suspended invoice information that they claimed they had done for the first two invoice I was told that I'm not allowed to see that. I was then told that there was nothing that they could do and that I'd have to resolve the issue with my bank.

The bottom line is this company added additional charges to my account WITHOUT my consent or authorization. They said that they reissued the invoices because they forgot to include $4 worth of shipping charges. Why they just didn't bill me for the $4 is anyone's guess.

I have had my bank issue me a new debit card so that Badgerland Car Wash Equipment can no longer make charges to my account without my authorization. I will no longer be doing business with Badgerland Car Wash Equipment.Desired Settlement: I am working with my bank to dispute the charges and the overdraft fees. I no longer wish to do business with a company who now appears to me to practice fraudulent business practices.
